- 4 killed suspect suicide Friday February 27, 2015 South Korean killing spree murder suicide kills brother leaves 4 dead A man fatally shot three people Friday and was found dead with a suicide note in the second deadly shooting in three days. Victim included policeman armed only with stun gun who did not have ballistic vest who tried to negotiate. 75-year-old suspect is believed to be the brother of an 86-year-old victim, whose wife was also dead, police said. The suspect was found with gunshot wounds believed to be a suicide. The daughter-in-law of the dead couple managed to escape by jumping from a second-floor window. Shotguns must be kept at the police station, where suspect picked up his appaently legal gun. It was second amok shooting that week in South Korea Four people are dead after an elderly man shoots and kills two people, a policeman, and then himself in the South Korean city of Hwaseong. - 9 dead 1 injured suspect suicide Friday February 27, 2015 Joseph Jesse Aldridge Missouri Mass Murder Suicide Rampage Gunman identified as Joseph Jesse Aldridge, 36, of Tyrone, Mo apparently killed himself after going on a door-to-door shooting rampage after finding his mother who he live with had died. Aldridge killed seven people, including at least two married couples, all adults including three women and four men, and injured another in series of six attack sites in southern Missouri before fatally shooting himself one county away. No motive is known

- Ukraine authorities accuse member of Oplot group of organizing Kharkov blast Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has said that the terrorist act in Kharkov on February 22 was organized by a member of the Oplot organization. The man and his two accomplices had been detained, the SBU said, as cited by Tass news agency. Oplot was established in Kharkov in 2010 to help veterans of the armed forces and police
- US-led coalition launches 20 airstrikes in Syria, targets Kobani since early Thursday, targeting 13 of them near the key border town of Kobani, Reuters reported. The strikes in Syria were also staged in areas near al Hasaka, Dayr az Zawr and Tal Harris, the Combined Joint Task Force said on Friday. The coalition also led 11 strikes against the militant group in Iraq since early Thursday. The new airstrikes follow 14 earlier ones between early Wednesday and Thursday in Syria and Iraq.

Ukraine against government Police in Spain arrested on Friday eight Spanish citizens who returned from Ukraine after fighting in Donbass, EFE news agency reported. The arrests were made in six regions, according to the Interior Ministry. Those detained are accused of “killings, illegal possession of weapons and explosives and committing activities directed against Spain’s interests abroad,” it said.
