Sleep Incidents ---

Deadly "accidents" blamed on lack of sleep, could be another cause or cover story for deliberate attacks like DUI, under influence of drugs, mentally unstable, angry, fleeing police, distracted, etc.

1 killed suspect charged with homicide July 4, 2015  WA: State Patrol says pot involved in fatal July 4 alleged falling asleep crash Seattle man charged with homicide and driving under the influence of marijuana in connection with a fatal crash in Tumwater.  26-year-old Patrick Lee Martin .. driving a Chrysler 300 at speeds exceeding 100 mph when he struck a Volkswagen Jetta, which then rolled into a ditch. He told police he had fallen asleep, but  they smelled marijuana and determined he was under influence. Commenter: really a vehicular homicide crime with the DUI a secondary crime.

1 killed, 1 critically injured celebrity June 7, 2014 Truck Driver Rear Ends Tracy Morgan's Sprinter Van In New Jersey Sprinter van carrying actor Tracy Morgan was rear-ended on New Jersey Turnpike by tractor-trailer operated by Walmart, causing a chain reaction crash. He was in critical condition, and the accident killed Morgan's friend James McNair. Police faulted the truck Kevin Roper for failing to see slow moving traffic ahead of his rig. Morgan is suing Walmart since the driver was speeding and did not get enough sleep.
