Her body was found dumped in Hyde Park. Alemany was led out of court in handcuffs. July 23, 24 2013 28-year-old Edwin Alemany allegedly murdered Amy Lord of South Boston and was arrested in two other attacks on women. She was kidnapped and forced to withdraw money from banks, then her Jeep was found burning and her body was found that afternoon. Two other attacks occurred early on the mornings of July 23 and July 24. Lord was attacked the morning of July 23, in between the time of the two other attacks. He told the first woman told the first woman he attacked, “I’m not robbing you. I’m going to kill you”, punched her in the face and dragged her by the legs into a parking lot" but then told her “You’re not the one I’m looking for. I’m sorry. I have a hit out for a female pushing a baby carriage walking with a male wearing a white shirt” Alemany was arrested at Tufts Medical Center, where he sought treatment, initially claiming he had been stabbed in the hand in an argument at a South Boston gas station.
