- 1 toddler killed, elderly driver not arrested or charged April 14, 2014 Buckley Pickup Accidentally Drives on Trail Kills Red Wagon Toddler In Buckley, Washington State (near Tacoma) 2 year old toddler Lincoln Pearson died after his red wagon pulled by his father was hit by a Ford Ranger pickup driven by an un-named 78 year old driver who for some unexplained reason, left the road and drove 500 ft on a walking trail next to the road until it hit the wagon and was stopped when it crashed into a telephone pole. The driver got out of the truck, looked at the boy, and returned. Although he told the police he was aware of what he had done, he offered no explanation for the accident, and police ruled it was not related to alcohol or drugs. He could have been charged if he had been under orders by his doctor not to drive. There was not enough evidence to arrest or charge the man with a deliberate attack.
- Monday April 14, 2014 Gaza Prime Minister Praises Shooting of Car Near Hebron Gaza's prime minster Ismail Maniyeh praised the fatal shooting of a car near a checkpoint in the vicinity of the west bank city of Hebron. Terrorist gunmen opened after on an Israeli vehicle killing one and wounding two at the start of Passover. The victim was Israeli Police Chief Superintendent Baruch Mizrahi, a father of 5 in a police intelligence unit. His pregnant wife Haddas was injured, and the nine-year-old son, sustained shrapnel chest wounds. After being hit with two bullets, the mother took over the steering wheel and ordered her children to lie down on the floor of the car. Although no terrorist group took credit for the attack, the PM said that the shooting brought back life to the path of resistance against Israel and warned of more attacks. The Gaza-based terror group Islamic Jihad also praised the attack.

On March 13, a man named Richard Kirk pleaded not guilty to the first-degree murder. He did not deny killing but Kirk's attorneys argue that the legally purchased marijuana edible he had consumed before the incident had so clouded his mind that he couldn't be held culpable for his actions. Richard began being verbally abusive, put his paychecks in a private account rather than the couple's joint account, ran up a massive amount of credit card debt and three tax liens from the IRS, the last two being issued in 2010, wife was covered by a $340,000 life insurance policy.
