Killed by lone wolf racist, or terrorist hired to replace MLK with communist backed radical leadership?  April 4, 1968 Martin Luther King was killed by a single rifle bullet on , while standing on the second-floor balcony of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. Ray had been renting a room in the house at the time. A package was dumped close to the site that included a rifle and a binocular, both found with Ray's fingerprints. He supposedly acted alone, but seemed to get a lot of mysterious help, as if he were some kind of intelligence agency operative.
