1 injured, 1 arrested December 7, 2014 Seattle Somali Cab Driver Beaten For Slow Service Seattle cab driver immigrant from Somalia 34-year-old Adam Gaal is beaten by 3 riders after they were angry at how slow he was processing their credit card. On December 29, 2014 Jesse Alexander Fleming, 26, pled not guilty of calling him a terrorist and beating the driver so severely on that he lost control and rolled into several parked cars and an apartment building in Seattle's Magnolia neighborhood. Fleming returned but claimed self-defense. He is in the Navy stationed in Everett, is facing numerous charges.
