According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Dante Thomas (African American) was arrested for the murder of Linda Vu, 24, (Asian American) on Thursday. He was Vu's live-in boyfriend. Authorities said he confessed that he and Vu got into an argument and he stabbed her. Harris County deputies went to the scene at the Inwood Meadows Apartments on Antoine Drive Tuesday around 10:45 p.m. In the Vu killing, the woman's children, ages 4 and 6, were home and saw Thomas allegedly stab their mother seven times.
