  1. 1 injured 5 suspects January 15, 2015 Paris hit and run police attack:  female officer is deliberately run over outside President's Palace - Mirror Online Daily Mirror two have been arrested and three others handed themselves in after a motorist drove 'deliberately' at the officer. the car had been driving the wrong way along a one-way system.  policewoman was thrown on to the hood of vehicle, and left with an injured wrist. tags: wrong way, deliberate accident, France, probable mideast  Nothing in the backgrounds of those arrested that would link them to extremism. One of those arrested is said to have told police in custody that he had simply lost his way and panicked. Four people inside the car then abandoned their vehicle and fled but two - thought to have been the driver and front-seat passenger - were arrested by police on motorbikes nearby. Police believe it is not linked to "extremism" or the previous weeks's terrorist attacks. Witnesses said the driver had driven deliberately at the policewoman, and spokesman:  "there is no doubt about the intention of the driver [to] hit my colleague". No names of suspects which would reveal ethnicity have been released.
