1 injured 2 arrested January 15, 2015 Bomb threat suspect Dallas Horton Shoots Oklahoma Black Police Chief Dallas Horton, 29, of Sentinel, blasted Police Chief Louis Ross three times in the chest and once in the arm as Ross and his team swept through Horton's home after a bomb threat call was traced to his home. At 4 a.m. 911 received a bomb threat by a man who identified himself as Horton, but after bomb squad search of the center, which houses the city's Head Start preschool program, the call was traced to Horton's home, when they stormed the house, loudly announcing it was a police raid but Horton said he did not know they were law enforcement when he started shooting. Horton was taken into custody after the shooting and questioned but released after officials believed his claim that "I did not make the 911 call" Ross survived because he was wearing a bullet-proof vest. At the time of the threat call Horton posted eight far right right-leaning status updates on his Facebook about his dismay over Sharia law in America, compared America to Nazi Germany, and that White House sent officials to Michael Brown's funeral but not Paris.

Alternative theory: anti-government politically motivated gun nut domestic terrorist is caught making false bomb threat against a building housing a school, and is prepared to attack police after they traced the call, authorities believe his cover story, and release him, without explaining how the call orginated from the home.

A Black police chief in Oklahoma was shot four times—three times in the chest and once in the arm—on Thursday morning by a white suspect whose home he was raiding. But after blasting away at the police chief of Sentinel, Okla., the white man was allowed to walk free. Law enforcement officials said they didn’t have enough evidence to charge him. ... From descriptions of neighbors and Horton’s Facebook page, the man appears to be a “survivalist” type who mistrusted the government, was openly unfriendly to neighbors and wore a lot of black clothing. His Facebook profile is full of racist images and mocks Black leaders like Rev. Al Sharpton. “Hurt ME and your [sic] gonna feel pain,” is written on an image of a human skeleton’s skull. “Hurt my BEST FRIEND and your gonna need an ambulance, hurt my FAMILY…I’m gonna need a .. It is hard to imagine a scenario where a Black man with violent anti-white statements on his Facebook page could shoot a white police chief four times and be home for dinner with his family the same day...The man on the other end of the 911 call identified himself as Dallas Horton... Before the raid, Chief Ross borrowed a bulletproof vest from the county. Sentinel is a tiny town whose population in 2013 was listed as 904 people.
When they burst into Horton’s home, they came upon Horton in a bedroom. Horton reportedly told officials he didn’t know it was law enforcement officers. But Chief Ross sounded somewhat doubtful of that claim in comments he made to the local television station KWTV.
“Don’t know what he heard or didn’t hear, screaming from five officers of the law announcing our presence, requesting to see hands,” Ross said.

Freethought search for Horton’s facebook page revealed the statements to be anti-ISIS. White Man Shoots Black Police Chief Four Times and Walks Free Gawker In the early hours of Thursday morning, from 2:13 a.m. to 4:40 a.m.—around the same time as the 911 call—Horton posted eight status updates on Facebook. One expressed anxiety about the spread of Sharia law in America. Another compared America to Nazi Germany. A third expressed disappointment that the White House sent officials to Michael Brown's funeral—referred to as "this thug"—and none to Paris.
