The victim was 22-year-old Poth Accouth of Nebraska whodied from a gunshot wound to the neck. He was shot outside the Kato Ballroom after an event for a Sudanese student group from Minnesota State University. Accouth was to participate in a weekend basketball tournament held at the school. A 21-year-old was arrested for carrying a gun without a permit, and two others were arrested for disorderly conduct.
