Norway Bus Hijacking and Stabbing

Norway Bus Hijacking and Stabbing
Terroristic Incidents | Bus Incidents

November 4, 2013 Three people, a man and woman passenger and the bus driver were stabbed to death by a man who hijacked a long distance bus on a remote mountain road in central Norway. The 31 year old suspect from South Sudan who was due to be deported was arrested. he had been living at a reception center for asylum seekers in the nearby small town of Aardal. Mainstream media did not mention religion, but counter-terrorist a blogs also reported that the man was muslim. In 2012 a Palestinian man hijacked a bus in Norway who fused to buy a ticket and instead threatened the driver with an emergency hammer he found on-board the bus.

The hijacker (illegal?) who lived in Porsgrunn did not have a Norwegian passport.

Expert calls bus hijacking a ‘massacre’

The dramatic stabbings that took place on board a bus in the mountains of southern Norway Monday evening were being called a “massacre” rather than a hijacking on Tuesday. The assailant was a reportedly rejected asylum seeker from South Sudan, and his victims were two Norwegians and a Swede.
Police confirmed that the man who went on the attack is a 31-year-old refugee from war-torn South Sudan who had been living at an asylum center in Øvre Årdal, an industrial town at the end of an eastern arm of the scenic Sognefjord. Årdal is home to one of Norsk Hydro’s aluminum plants, and newspaper Aftenposten reported that it was fire-fighters from the plant who ultimately apprehended the assailant, since they were the first emergency crew to arrive on the scene.
Victims: Two men and one young woman
The refugee’s victims were a 19-year-old Norwegian woman and a Swedish man in his 50s, who were the only other passengers on the regularly scheduled Valdresekspressen bus that had left Årdal bound for Oslo. He also mortally wounded the driver of the bus, whom police described as a Norwegian man in his 50s.
...Police have not yet established a motive for the attack on the bus, but Bjørnebekk said research indicates such incidents often are the result of pent-up anger within someone who feels badly treated and wants to lash out at symbolic victims. She said that those carrying out such attacks often have had “negative experience” with institutions and trauma in their youth. Bjørnebekk said various things can trigger such an attack. Website vg.no reported Tuesday morning that the 31-year-old was to be deported on Tuesday, after his application for asylum had been rejected.
theValdresekspressen bus line was itself involved in a similar attack 10 years ago, when a distraught asylum seeker from Ethiopia attacked the bus driver and killed him.

These people have serious mental health issues. I wonder why Norway is so attractive to Ethiopian, Somali, Afghan and Sudanese refugees. Norway should really give them a small amount of money and send them on their way.
    • Leights
Why should Norway give them ” a small amount of money”? I’m sure the tax paying voters would love that…!
    • uglycrab
cause they are not stupid, they speak/read English and they read the neews that EU is in crisis and they understand Scandinavia is not so much into economic crisis so they think, since they made it all the way to Europe they might as well ask asylum from ‘the right country’.
  • No_offence_intended
May as well post this message here as well. What this quite clearly is. Is a very desperate attempt to stay in the country.
When people are desperate they will do anything. What surprises me is that he was not detained pending deportation. Although, again it seems Norwegians have failed to take lessons from the past.
I read it took 1 hour 22 mins for the police to get there. It’s about time this country woke up. I’m afraid the rural sleepy life Norwegians love and are used to is under threat. What gets me – is that if any country could afford to have over resources – be it hospitals, doctors, schools, police (police helicopters fully staffed and manned 24/7), etc it is Norway. No one would begrudge spending an extra percentage or two of the oil wealth to pay for this.
I put this general threat/trend down to uncontrollable mass immigration, exacerbated by those that come from outside the developed western nations. Limited immigration can be handled with education of Norwegian and western values. Again, if Norway is to continue with the waves of immigration that are on-going, they (govt) need to accept that there is a financial cost. If immigration is to work then they need to spend more on relocation education, lower cost quality language schools, asylum centers, deportation services etc.
Unfortunately incidences like this, will make it even more difficult for Asylum seekers/immigrants – who even after asylum/resident status is granted live polarized lives.
    • Robert Neve
I agree it could have been desperation but it seems a little over the top for that. And this has nothing to do with uncontrollable mass immigration. Immigrates are not the same as asylum seekers and it’s about time people stopped grouping the 2.
      • No_offence_intended
Maybe I should elaborate – by general threat/trend I am talking about Norwegian society suffering from more (violent) crimes, organised crimes, robberies, rapes etc – a disproportionate amount which is attributed to non Norwegians – be it asylum or immigrants. Failing to assimilate both leads to problems transcending 1st generation migration.
        • Robert Neve
I think it is more the media. I searched this site for murder and I looked at 2 pages of results. Only 1 of the murderers was an immigrant. The rest it didn’t mention. Funny how when it’s a Norwegian criminal it’s just “a woman was killed” but when it’s a foreign national it’s “immigrant kills Norwegian woman”. That sort of reporting will of course implant the idea that it is only immigrants that do crimes. Just like when they reported the rapes 2 years ago it was “mostly immigrants” raping people by which they actually mean dark skin because they weren’t caught and thus their citizenship was unknown. However that was only the 52 stranger rapes. Somehow it seemed to miss the majority of newspapers (not this site I’m pleased to say) that the 52 rapes were nothing compared to the 7000+ rapes caused by people the victim knew. Amazingly of course the ethnicity of these people was not mentioned by anyone again.
          • Observer2796
Rob. The problem you’re are describing is universal. The 24 hour news cycle needs to be fed. Unfortunately sensational “red meat” reports attract more attention.
          • Kanon25
Bingo – it is shameful what the press do.
          • uglycrab
Crimes are likely to be carried out of emotional disturbance or calculated profit. Immigrants are under pressure on all lelvels, social psychological and mental, and they may lash out if something reaches a boundary. That happens because we all are humans no matter where we came from.
        • dragonlife
Sorry, wrong conclusion ! failing to integrate not assimilate, as immigrants we are not supposed to be the new “fake” Norwegians, Respect the rules and the society and be respected !
  • Robert Neve
I hardly think 3 murders counts as a massacre. But I think more attention should be paid to these people and maybe professionals should try to identify those with issues and they be treated properly rather than to be left to wander.
    • Robert Cumming
If this happened at a school in the US it would be called a massacre, why should it not be called a massacre in Norway?
      • Robert Neve
Because I am not a tabloid journalist and wouldn’t call 3 deaths a massacre in any country. I guess it comes down to your definition of many.
        • inquisitor
Massacre is used by the media because of how sensational the word sounds. You could have a story about a guy catching record fish in one outing and the media would call it a massacre.
  • Observer2796
Leights. White guilt? there needs to be some sort of support network in place. Imagine what stories an ex child soldier will share with your kid.
    • Leights
Agreed, it’s not the child’s fault, they just seem to be literally dumped here. Strategically on the world stage Norway then smiles and says ” look how great we are, helping all these people” but in the long run more damage is being inflicted on the nation without the correct support being given prior to entry into the populace.
White guilt. You’ve only to look to Sri Lanka to see the hornets nest Norway opened there and resentment still lingers today for openly funding equipping and training (at Rena) the LTTE Terrorists. ( Terrorist as recognised by 32 countries including all the EU, Canada,UK, USA and more)
      But that’s another story
      • Observer2796
The LTTE gave us the pretty sight of suicide bombing. We’ll save that for another time, but boy if I was in charge I would medicate the unstable ones to the point of my satisfaction.
  • Robert Neve
I read this on the bbc (I noticed it got a small mention in the other article too)http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-24812042 and I think there is a far bigger problem here.
“Plans to deploy an anti-terror unit to the scene aboard army helicopters was called off after the suspect was arrested.” Given how long it took to arrest him and that it was firemen who did it what the hell took the anti-terror unit so long? If this was a serious terrorist attack having an anti-terror unit that hasn’t even deployed after 90 minutes and firemen were not only doing the arresting but even allowed into the area shows they have learnt nothing.
    • GTP2
Good point Robert, those firemen shouldn’t have been anywhere near the bus until the police or army had made it safe to do so. I work for the ambulance service and dispatchers often send crews to dangerous situations stating ” It sounds calm there now” even though weapons are involved. A few years ago, 2 ambulancemen were shot dead in this area by a mentaly ill man, yet AMK are still sending crews to these incidents without police back up.
      • Observer2796
In my country if you just as much touch a first responder it is over. We do not tolerate freaks that attack people trying to save you, your friends or your families goddamn life.
        • GTP2
The killer is now free after spending a few years in an open psychiatric ward at the local hospital.
          • Robert Cumming
That’s nothing Norways most proliffic serial killer Arnfin Nesset (look him up, it’s an interesting case, convicted on 22 counts of murder, suspected of killing 138) was set free after 12 years, he’s now living under a new identity, but the gist of it is you can kill as many people as you like here and you’ll never serve life, just wait ABB will be out on the streets within a decade.
            • inquisitor
This is why many Norwegians tell me they would just take justice into their own hands with such a killer and then get off with a light sentence.
              • Robert Cumming
I agree if anyone did anything to my wife or kids I would have no problem taking justice into my own hands and waiting on Norwegian justice system to give me a slap across the wrist with a wet bus ticket afterwards.
  • Ulrike Niemann
Was he so desperate to stay in Norway, even accept a life long prison sentence and a life long guilt, that he would kill?
    • GTP2
He won’t get a life long prison setence though.
    • Observer2796
Naaah. Norwegian healthcare does not get into the ghettos. They don’t manage to get in the front door, which is why these problems are left to fester. How in the world could 2 teenagers get radicalized in an advanced society? These girls should have been texting and twittering and thinking about cute boys. Instead they had Jihad on their minds. Poor kids.
    • Robert Cumming
He’s be lucky to spend 5 years behind bars in Norway, to get a decent prison sentance here you have to steal Munch painting.
  • Robert Cumming
If you let monkeys into the country what do you expect.
  • Robert Cumming
The problem is the average Norwegian just isn’t brave enough to get outraged and complain, they’re all to scared to be called racists, it’s too many years of having PC & janteloven bullshit shoved down their throats and now they are incapable of protesting issues like this. If I was the govt I’d put a halt on all inbound assylm seekers and clean up the backlog then have a good long look at how we process them and how many we want to take, because it the moment it’s a clusterfuck.
    • inquisitor
Well perhaps should ask what are the more covert reasons for government authorities to inject eastern Europeans, Middle Easterners and Africans into western European countries…other than the overt and advertised humanitarian reasons…and in such an imbalanced way that it begins to destabilize the host country.
    • BobBobbyBobertsen
You’re absolutely right, except where you’re wrong. There may very well be some people who are afraid to speak out for fear of being called racists, but then again, there are a minority that actually deserve to be called racists, and a few who get lumped in with the racists because of ill-considered ways of expressing their legitimate concerns about immigration. It’s not as black and white (for lack of a better term) as you put it, and like most issues facing people today, requires a more nuanced approach to the problem. Otherwise we risk going to the other extreme, where non-Western immigrants are collectively demonized, and bigotry becomes acceptable, or even expected, for fear of being labeled naïve or ignorant.
      • cultish
It’s not racist to want to protect your country and it’s way of life. If the people don’t want refugees and fake asylum seekers in their country, that’s their business. If they want to keep the country with only Caucasians, there’s nothing wrong that. Anyone who is willing to butcher strangers on a secluded bus…well it speaks volumes.
        • BobBobbyBobertsen
“If they want to keep the country with only Caucasians, there’s nothing wrong that.”
See what I mean about racists? Enough said.
          • Robert Cumming
Japan is mostly Japanese, China mostly Chinese, most Arab countries are mostly Arab, plenty of places don’t want immigration and don’t take in refugees, so why does it automatically become a racial issue if western (white) countries decide not to take in refugees, why should it be my tax dollars that has to pay for them, why shouldn’t I demand that the Japanese, Chinese or Arabs take in refugees then call them racist if they don’t.
            • BobBobbyBobertsen
Because China and Arab countries are perfect examples of tolerance and progress, right? Just because they have racist policies doesn’t make it right for us to do the same, two wrongs don’t make a right. The strongest economies in the world have always been in countries where they embrace multiculturalism and immigration, just look at Silicon Valley and compare its economy to a more homogeneous region like Pakistan.
Nobody is saying we have to take in all the world’s refugees, that is such a red herring. Nobody is saying that killing 3 people to stay in a country is ok. But it’s a huge stretch to go from not letting criminals take advantage of us to saying it’s ok to want your country to be only Caucasian. That is racism by definition, and utterly stupid from an economic and pragmatic point of view. Asylum should only be offered to those in dire need and those who are willing to assimilate, and only after a very thorough vetting process, which does NOT include discrimination based on skin color or religion. People are individuals, treat them as such. Immigrants should only be accepted if they will be able to contribute to the economy and assimilate to the way of life, again completely regardless of skin color and religion.
Thank you for proving my point about racism becoming acceptable, I think almost anybody would agree that cultish’s comment was condoning racism, and you seem to think it is acceptable because others countries do it. Can you not admit that there are racists out there, and this is not something society should condone?
Do you remember what happened last time a European country blamed all its troubles on a particular ethnic group or religion?
              • Robert Neve
I think your comparison would be better if you picked India over Pakistan. After all they did both start at exactly the same place but the tolerant one is off to Mars. I do agree with you that Europe shouldn’t refuse those in need however I think claiming skin colour is also a red herring. You can be for a targeted immigration scheme (think points or skill based) but against asylum seekers.
                • BobBobbyBobertsen
No Robert, I don’t think “claiming skin colour is also a red herring”, did you read cultish’s comment? There are people out there that don’t want immigrants or asylum seekers because they want to walk down the street and not see any black faces, to me that is not a valid or acceptable reason. It is perfectly ok to not want asylum seekers because you are concerned about your tax money being misused, or you worry about crime, I would be likely to support that opinion. The problem is the racists have hijacked the debate, and infiltrated the anti-immigration group, and the non-racists are not calling them out on it. That’s why, as Robert Cumming complains, some people get lumped in with the racists despite having legitimate concerns that are not motivated by racial bias or bigotry.
                  • Robert Neve
Ok I think then I misunderstood your meaning. Certainly there are racists in the debate and I was just saying that to link anti asylum with racism is not legitimate. However of course there are some racists but I class them as a different debate.
                • Robert Cumming
India tolerant, pull you head in, Indians are even prejudice against each other, mostly based on skin colour, the lighter you are the better chance you have of making it, and then you also have the caste system, which still exists even when it’s officially outlawed. India is blowing billions on defence and space when they have hundreds of millions living well below the poverty line, India is a crap example.
                  • Robert Neve
It is still much more tolerant and open than Pakistan over which it is doing much better than.
              • Robert Cumming
I find it bizarre that only white folks are called racists and all the others are victims. Yup I do remember what happened to the jews, it wasn’t nice, the world then went and created the single biggest mistake in the history of mankind by forcing a jewish state onto the middle east. But supporting the Palestinians makes you anti-semitic in the eyes of many.
            • Kanon25
“Robert Cumming”: you are simply repeating word for word the speaking notes distributed by Europe’s neofacists, which seek to normalise irrational, prejudicial, racist behaviour and hate based on superficial “differences”. That kind of behavior not normal – it is base behavior that mature humans seek to rise above.
      • Robert Cumming
When do Norwegians ever speak out against anything other than the weather?
    • Leights
Agreed, painfully obvious to an outsider, drives me insane. I am seeing a change in thought though lately and more protest towards the incompetent “dumb rabbit in the headlights” attitude here. Every single one that protest interestingly is a woman, Norwegian men seem to just bend over and take it. They must learn that proactive is better than reactive, as I’ve said before, hugs tears and burning candles just don’t wash with me. Stop it before it starts.
  • Jock
The Norwegian police need to go to London to Get trained into how to respond quicker to crime scenes and not to stop at Stat oil for a Coffee . They also need to Get trained how to deal with immigration crime . They need to employ different nationalalitys of experienced police officers to join a new task force to work and help the Norwegian police. This operation is happening just now in London to fight immigration crime . This new Norwegian government seems like they will make alot of new changes in Norway and finally will wake up the Norwegian people. The population is changing in Norway and the immigrants see this country as an easy target so the country needs to change and adapt to Solve these issues . Quicker the better I Say
    • Kanon25
“They also need to Get trained how to deal with immigration crime ”
Sorry but what nonsense is this? “Immigration crime”? Are you for real?
      • Jock
Thats the comment I would Expect from a person who is blinded by Whats going to happen in this country and who is scared of changes .
  • Robert Cumming
Have a house, had a Volvo, my wife has a govt job and we go on holidays, god damn I’ve assimilated.
  • Kanon25
“Why does this country never learn from its mistakes, there’s simply no excuse whatsoever. There’s another thing which isn’t being addressed. Pulling refugees from war zones and dumping them in Norway without any expertly led rehabilitation will cause more damage than good to all involved.”
    - How long have you been in Norway? Have you not taken the roads, been on the trains? Been to hospital? Been in contact with the govt or public adminstration? Have you not grasped by now that incompetence and being AWOL on your duties is a nationally accepted state of affairs? You think its only asylum issues where lack of common sense or adequate processes shows up
“If Norway continually insists on being the the hug a foreigner nation ”
    - Believe you me, this country does not “hug” any foreigners. Frankly they dont even hug themselves, such is the level is distance and dispassion in this country.
    • Leights
On and off since ’92-security in all it’s forms, including economic are my forté. The state of the roads and trains do not interest me. Medical incompetence, primarily wildly wrong diagnostic medicine is, but that’s another issue for another time. Norway has its faults and by that I don’t mean “because it’s not like the UK”, there are genuine concerns here. But I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else on the planet. You have to ask yourself some questions-if you hate it so much, why are you still here? Leave
      • Kanon25
“You have to ask yourself some questions-if you hate it so much, why are you still here? Leave.”
        1) Utter cliche, bereft of any debating power. Exposes lack of ideas.
        2) I’m here as a a favour to a person I love. That’s the extent of it. Not impressed by the rapid focus on “immigration” that is patently aimed at distracting from the fact that incompetence rules the vast majority of business and govt here. All of it covered up by crude oil
This event here is very simple. A mentally unstable person lost it and killed people. Its not an immigration issue or a even a police, but in this country it becomes both. That’s how perverse this place is.
I know this for a fact, because I myself have almost been stabbed by a drug-addicted norwegian crazy on the streets of Oslo. I cant possibly have been the only one this has happned to. Note the lack of outcry to imprison all Norwegian drug addicts though.
Too many in this country are prejudiced, xenophibic and gutless about it. So we get a ridiculous “immigration” debate anytime the gutless find an convenient excuse. Stop it please. Its ridiculous.
One crazy man, three dead people. Could happen anywhere and at any time. Any country.
Go and count the number of people who die in busses and cars every year because this country is too cheap and incompetent enough to build double carriageways. How many die early of cancer because their local healthcare sytem cant be arsed to give them medical tests quickly. More than three for sure. But none of those deaths trigger a statement of regret from the prime minister. None of those deaths trigger a violent national “debate” on the incompetence of the authorities – no doubt because immigration and foreigners cannot be a rather conveniently placed bystander during the strafing.
There is my answer. And no I didnt need to tell you to “go anywhere” to respond to to – that sort of nonsense is the crutch of the intellectually challenged
        • Leights
Immigrant and immigration are always used in the wrong context, after all, you and I both are immigrants in Norway are we not? My focus point was on the Roma Gypsies.
I agree in part with what you say regarding Norway’s “problems”. You have to understand that a country is shaped by its past and an individual is a product of his,her social environment.
Norway in my view suffers nationally from what William H Whyte coined and Irving Janis pioneered at Yale,”Groupthink”. Prior to striking oil on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in 1971 Norway was one of the poorest countries in Europe and still finding its feet. It’s now one of the richest but with the same mindset it started with. There’s a famous cartoon which sums up in part the countries attitude, printed in around 1916 of a Norwegian sailor being pulled from the North Sea by the Royal Navy after his ship was sunk by a German U-Boat with the quote-”You don’t think the Germans will be angry at me for being rescued?” It’s healthy to have an outsiders view but you must look at a country through the eyes of a local and not your native country to understand why they do the things they do. Then judge.
I’ve argued until I was blue in the face with some on blatantly obvious issues and I’m met with utter denial. Reminds me very much of what the Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov said about Soviet subversion of a nation.
Legislation in this country, to me is still stuck in the 18th century. They love to pump out figures like the amount of re offenders post prison. This doesn’t take into consideration the hoards of criminal gangs now entering the country, who couldn’t care less. Heroin dealers pushing their drugs openly on the streets of Oslo and the city has, for a long time now been the European capital for heroin. They refuse to listen to the advice of outsiders and so will suffer and continue to suffer until finally the penny drops.
I’ve spent many months in the country the murderer mentioned in this article came from. Life means nothing to many or taking a life, something I’ve personally witnessed there. It is an issue and a police issue but ultimately a governmental issue. Sooner or later the government, like what’s happened in many other countries will be held to account. The tragedy at Utøya could have been averted and, ultimately the blame lies with Stoltenbergs government. Underfunded understaffed and under equipped emergency and intelligence services coupled with a mindset of elitist nothing can touch us ways resulted in a loss of life yet seen elsewhere. And still it happens and in my opinion could happen again. To quote George Santayana: ” Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”.
For me now I just flow around the brick wall and keep going rather than walk into it, I wasn’t derogatory when I said if you don’t like it leave. You just have to look at the facts surrounding you and make a decision, at present we can’t change a thing. To say your here because you did your partner a “favour” is weak. What happened to mutual agreements? You talk like he/she owes you something? So quote someone else, George Patton: ” Lead, follow or get the hell out the way”
          • Kanon25
You’re still resorting to the intellectually challenged approach to debate. Lose it.
I am here, and going to call it like its, I refuse the accept the false premises offered here in this country on subjects of this nature – and no I’m not shy about refusing to accept the BS. More people should.
By the way this too is more nonsense that fails to see the real problem: “The tragedy at Utøya could have been averted and, ultimately the blame lies with Stoltenbergs government. ”
            - Stoltenberg govt should not be used as a scapegoat. Norwegians have fundamental problem withbeing able to grasp the concepts of long term planning and priotitization. While you throw out red herrings about Utoya, the fact is that if some crazy gets a gun today and starts shooting in a remote part of Norway on a sunday in the summer, there will be no one around in time to save them, because NOTHING the current govt has done would change the situation – and that has been the same for many govts past. Norwegians love to yap about this in political terms. Bit it’s not a political issue – its a cultural flaw.
            • Leights
I’m not sure what your nationality is Kanon25 or that English is your first language, but your beginning to lose me now. -”priotitization?” Your obviously angry at the country your now living in, but as you like to use the phrase “intellectually challenged”, only an intellectually challenged person would think they could change a countries psyche.
              • Kanon25
Seeing as America has managed to stop enslaving black people, Germany has managed to stop killing their minorities, I would imagine it is quite possible for Norway to grow up do something as simple as stop turning everything into a drama about immigration and immigrants – it is possible, really.
You do that by standing up against the status quo, not by telling everyone who does so to “leave”.
                • Leights
So where are you from? And who exactly are “you” standing up to? You’ll not get very far venting your views on an English speaking expat link. Are you able to vote here in Norway? Do you speak the language fluently?
                  • uglycrab
I think this is a Norwegian-managed newspaper in English and not a newspaper by expats for expats? Corrent me if im wrong. I am not sure.
Btw, are you accusing a commentator of being biased? So you are Mister Never-Biased-Always-Logical? Is that possible ever? You aren’t human and you yourself do not have a race and ethnic origin that affects your viewpoints?
                    • Leights
If a foreigner came to my country and started dictating how it should be ran in his own language how far do you think he’d get? Not sure about the ownership but it’s readers are obviously expats. I’m far from biased, very much the realist and definitely not a fantasist. There are no grey areas. Race and ethnic origin should never affect your viewpoints in a country like Norway. I speak 5 languages I could maybe help the guy out if he contacted me on FB in his own language. My lineage is São Paulo Brazil – Wales UK – Norway. Act and play the victim, you will inevitably become one. That’s not being callous or harsh, it’s just life. Far too many people spend their lives complaining and achieving nothing. Doing not talking is what I respect. Oxygen thieves. Life-get on with it or be left behind.

Massive over reaction on your part. Your wrongly using the broad term immigration. I’m not Norwegian and I’ve never had a problem and neither has anyone else I know. I’ve friends from many different countries, races and religions all came here without a penny in their pockets and all are doing very successfully. Maybe your referring to non European immigrants? What? I don’t know. The term immigrant covers the entire globe minus Norway, the country you live in, obviously.
Your also rather a hypocrite; you say it’s so wrong for Norwegians (pointing a finger at every Norwegian) to treat all foreigners (every human being on the planet outside Norway).
“A crazy guy on a bus…is a crazy guy on a bus” – no it isn’t, it’s an Asylum seeker from The Republic of South Sudan who had been refused Asylum in Norway because he had already claimed for Asylum in Spain and was about to be flown there. No other reason than that and if you like to take that up with the United Nations then feel free as that’s the guidelines Norwegian authorities were following not the fascist ideal your making it out to be as you point your finger at Norway and Norwegians.

As I said, I myself have been seconds away from being stabbed by a crazy psyco drug addict who was Norwegian. I’m sure others have been actually stabbed or robbed by them. It’s not a crisis when a Norwegian runs amok – and just because an asylum seeker did something like this does not make it a crisis or a require a hysteria about asylum seekers. Its even hysteria to the point that the bus companies are banning asylum seekers from taking the bus.
Crazy people exist in this country, not only asylum seekers but also Norwegians – the worst of them was on 7/7 when a crazy guy here shot killed a hundred people and tried to kill a former prime minster, all for merely being either foreigners or too friendly with foreigners. For all that no one in this country has suggested banning all people from owning a gun, have they?

24-year-old ‘Palestinian’ man has admitted he was behind the hijacking of a bus in an incident that left passengers terrified in Skien, south-eastern Norway.
The hellish episode began at around 7.30pm when the man refused to buy a ticket and instead threatened the driver with an emergency hammer he found on-board the bus.
The 24-year-old then declined to let any of the passengers off the coach.
”He told the driver he was not allowed to drive at less than 60 kilometres per hour. It was a scary experience,”

the 24-year-old hijacker was a stateless ‘Palestinian’ who lived in Porsgrunn but did not have a Norwegian passport.
Police have encountered the man on several occasions previously in connection with intoxication and public order offences,
