Terrorism is immediately ruled out or not considered as a motive as usual.but some commenters suspect terrorist attack.

5 killed 4 injured suspect arrested June 7, 2016   Erratic Truck Hit and Run Mows Down Bicycles Near Kalamazoo Michigan A half hour after police received calls about an erratic driving pickup truck, a blue Chevrolet pickup truck slammed into a group of nine bicycle riders climbing up a hill. After the truck crashed and was disabled, police found the unidentified man (name and religion not identified) after he fled the scene on foot. The truck sustained damaged that looked like it hit a'brick wall" reporedly  media can't reveal his name until he is legally charged with a crime.

jm Given the number of people struck and the fact that there were reports called in on the truck before the crash, it is premature to assume that there is anything accidental about what this driver did. For all we know, this could have been a terrorist attack. /  disqus_xq0lK7Otbg  You don't know much about terrorism if you think they go around hitting bicyclists with cars.../  My point was more that the use of the word "accident" before we know the facts assumes the driver was acting responsibly and had no ill intent. That's hard to believe when someone hits 9 people with deadly force.
