February 14, 2014 Norfolk Mall Shooting Brawl At the Gallery at Military Circle in Norfolk Virginia, a group of men walked up to another group with children and wanted to fight them. At the Victoria Secret the scuffle escalated until one man pulled out a gun and shot another man and then left. There had previously been there have been more than 800 calls for service at the mall in the past 12 months, mostly for larceny, alarm, disturbance-disorderly and assaults.
Is this common shopping mall violence, or a terrorist attack on a mall staged as just another brawl rather than a lone gunman attack?

Witnesses reported seeing one person pull out a gun, shoot the victim in the upper leg, and leave. ..her nephew and friends.. approached by a group of guys who wanted to fight. “They were just walking in the mall and the guys came up to him and wanted to fight DaQuaun and his friend,” Stovall said. “They said, ‘No we got our kids with us.’ They basically said, ‘We don’t care whether you got your kids with you or not, we are going to do this.’ They hit my god daughter and punched her in the eye.
