Michael Knight, spokesman for the ATF in Nashville, said investigators are looking at how the package was delivered and whether there were any threats to the family. They haven't identified suspects, he said. One bomb expert, Joseph Vince, a former ATF agent, said investigators will looking at whether revenge may be a motive..."Clients that didn't like the way they were represented -- or they represented some other client -- now this is payback," said Vince, director of criminal justice programs at Mount St. Mary's University in Maryland. "With a note in there, it very well may be some intentional revenge or something, that the attacker, the bomber, wanted to send them a message

Authorities have found what may be a "Handwritten Note" attached.
Well, that tells you one thing about the person/s responsible, s/he is not very smart.
It's only a matter of time before they catch the culprit, whom I'm willing to bet is a disgruntled ex-client.

  • If it is a "disgruntled ex-client" I hope it's an isolated incident and not some wacko domestic terrorist.

In China and the United States former patients are killing their doctors because they are angry about their treatment. Chris Dorner targeted the daughter of the police captain who handled his discipline case. Authorities need to check his client list, and also wonder why so many people who aren't terrorists are acting like terrorists. Who would have the ability to recruit all these people to do bad things against Americans and others?

Why would anyone bomb a retired elderly lawyer over bankruptcy and civil cases?Oliver Grant  Bonnie Akridge

  • Indeed, why would any group want to bomb a lawyer, shoot a doctor or music teacher, or shoot up a school or substation, topple a 200 ft communications tower, or crash a commuter train, or drive a boat into a barge, or drive a bus into a moving train, or kill 11 people in two head-on collisions on the same day or fly airliners into two adjacent towers? Authorities have nothing to go on. If such people even exist, they would be very few, and very hard to find.
