The Capitol is under construction and closed to the public.   Two days after Minnesota's legislative session ended, an intruder left threatening posters and signs with references to religion, war on his family and murder and stuck a knife into podium with harassment restraining order in the House of Representatives chamber Ramsey County attorney's office charged Robert Joseph Anderson, 47, of Minneapolis, with two counts of burglary and threats of violence. A woman who spotted him was told he was there to see a particular senator and he instructed her not to take his signs down,”  The woman who got the order said that Anderson had been through rehabilitation for methamphetamine addiction but “began to act very strange,” and suspected that he was back on methamphetamine

The papers were a harassment restraining order that a family member of Anderson’s, who isn’t connected to the Capitol, had obtained against him, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

She said Anderson had gone through rehabilitation for methamphetamine addiction about six months earlier and, a few months later, “began to act very strange,” according to the complaint. “She suspected that he was back on methamphetamine.”
