He set fire to the stairs of Williams's home leaving no escape, and was sentenced to life without parole for arson murder. Crawford's mother says that Crawford had a 2012 ski accident and believes that he had an undiagnosed closed head injury that caused him to use and get addicted to methamphetamine.
