February 21, 2017 Somali Taxi Cab Driver Beaten To Death in Pittsburgh A Bantu Somali taxi cab driver 31-year-old Ramadhan Mohamed who came to the United States as a federal refugee was beaten to death by four black men. After they left, the attackers came back to stomp on his face and neck to kill him, he died days after the attack. Christen Glenn, 18, of Greensburg, and Daniel Russell, 19, of Youngstown, Ohio, were also later arrested face charges of attempted homicide, robbery and conspiracy in connection with the Tuesday assault on , of Northview Heights.

Two suspects were arrested Friday, and police are hunting two others. Police say the perps actually left the crime scene, but came back to make sure the victim was dead. When they returned to the crime scene they stomped on his face and neck to kill him. The victim lingered on for days before dying in the hospital. The victim was born in Somalia and was brought to the United States under the Federal refugee program. Pittsburgh has about 550 Somali refugees. There has been widespread violence between black Americans and Somali refugees in Columbus, Ohio and Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota.
