News10/KXTV Police have arrested a second man in connection with the stabbing of three people Friday following a fight about speeding in an Elk Grove apartment complex parking lot. On Saturday, Johnny Van Tran, 18, turned himself in to police. His jail booking sheet shows he is accused of assault with a deadly weapon or instrument and conspiracy, both felonies, Bail was set at $50,000. Loc Nguyen, 20, was arrested Friday night at at Kaiser South hospital, Elk Grove police said. Three residents of the apartment complex suffered multiple cuts during the fight from what police believe was a folding pocket knife. Their injuries were not life-threatening, police said. The body of Leo Curry Jr. was found by Sacramento police inside of his home. Detectives learned Curry had been helping a family and invited them into his home. The police investigation alleged the family, identified as Michael Moreno, 37; Sandy George, 35, and Kevin Moreno, 19, began stealing money and belongings from Curry. After reports reported the car was missing from the driveway investigators discovered Curry's vehicle had been advertised online and sold after his death. Detectives traced the posting and transaction to the suspects.
