April 2, 2014 2014 Fort Hood Shooting Suspect Ivan Lopez Four dead, 14 injured at Fort Hood after suspect Ivan Lopez attacked other soldiers at the Army base. The motive was unclear, but the initial assessment is the incident is not terror-related according to officials and an analyst at Stratfor. The suspect was married with a wife and children, and was being evaluated for post-traumatic stress disorder. Around 4:30 p.m. at a medical support building, Specialist Lopez walked in then drove a vehicle and fired shots from the vehicle with a .45-caliber Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistol. He got out of the vehicle, walked into another building and opened fire again, and then confronted a female military police officer. He put his hands up, then reached under his jacket. As the female officer drew her weapon Lopez put his weapon to his head and fired. He purchased his gun legally from the same shop as Major Hasan. Lopez had served for 4 months in Iraq and also in Egypt and was originally from Puerto Rico.
Motive wasn't obviously an attack on US soldiers? There isn't any evidence of any connection to US enemies like Iran other than a long history of attacks by Puerto Rican militants.
Gordon Duff on Veterans Today quoted a news story from Iran's Press TV, and called US military bases places of crime, and dismissed the idea that there was no evidence of a conspiracy.
He was angry and infatuated about Sandy Hook and other mass shootings, like other mass shooters he appears to be inspired by other shooters. Authorities announce attack was not premeditated, but clearly he bought the gun for the attack and was thinking about mass shootings enough to make him angry.
Debbie Schlussel speculates if these were well planned jihad attacks staged to look like the result of mental illness: rash of “crazy” people who engage in these successful rampages at military installations and so on, and yet while the attacks appear to be “random” attacks by “mentally disturbed” people, they also look very well planned. And in both these cases, the perpetrator was killed, so we have no way to know if these were instance of mental illness and PTSD–as is claimed–or well planned jihad. And we’ll never know for sure. The same goes for the gunman who shot his way onto the USS Mahan at Naval Station Norfolk last week, in a little-reported story that strangely went under the radar. Ditto forMiriam Carey, the “crazy” woman who drove her car like an assassin on Capitol Hill and near the White House, last year, and was shot dead by Capitol Police. Millington Tennesee Naval Base Shooting October 24, 2013 At a naval base in Millington, near Memphis Tennessee, the base was put on lockdown after two were shot. One report was a National Guardsman got into a fight with two other soldiers near the base. One reportedly pulled a gun, striking one man in the foot and the second in the leg. Another report was the shooter was a Navy recruiter who had been relieved of duty. A suspect was taken into custody and lockdown ended after 90 minutes
September 16, 2013 DC Navy Yard Shooting 34-year-old Aaron Alexis from Fort Worth, Texas was a 4 year veteran Naval reservist and government civilian contractor who had access to the Washington Navy Yard in Washington DC miles 1.5 miles from the Capitol building. Just 24 hours prior to the shooting, Fox News had reported, “The FBI is searching for a recent Army recruit believed to be planning a ‘Fort Hood-inspired jihad against U.S. soldiers.’” It’s still unclear whether that threat is related to the Wednesday attack.
In 2009, Army psychiatrist and Islamist Maj. Nidal Hasan, who called himself a “mujahedeen,” or holy warrior, shot 43 people. The Obama administration labeled it “workplace violence,” not terrorism. Hasan was convicted and received the death penalty in August 2013.
Authorities have already concluded, as they did in the Hasan massacre, that the April 2 attack is not related to terrorism.
On Nov. 5, 2009, Hasan shouted “Allahu akbar!” (“Allah is greater!”) and brutally murdered 14 people (including an unborn baby) and injured 29 others at Fort Hood. Hasan described himself as a soldier who “switched sides,” claiming he was acting to protect Islamic insurgents from American aggression.
Hasan had been on federal officials’ radar screen for at least six months prior to the shooting over postings he made on the Internet. He likened a suicide bomber who kills women and children to a soldier who throws himself on a grenade to give his life in a “noble cause.”
Intelligence officials also intercepted at least 18 emails between Hasan and the radical American-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. Hasan told al-Awlaki in one of the emails, “I can’t wait to join you” in paradise. He also asked al-Awlaki whether it was appropriate to kill innocents in a suicide attack, when jihad was acceptable and how to transfer funds without attracting government notice.
As WND reported, nearly four years after Hasan’s brutal attack, he received free helicopter rides from the local jail nearly every day, lived in a private room built to accommodate his medical needs, wore a beard against Army regulations, traveled with his own security detail, had received numerous trial delays and collected a full salary of about $80,000 a year – all while many of his victims said they’ve been forgotten.

Fort Hood and the lies we cannot live with

The stories report that "officials" are saying that there was no indication that the second shooting spree at Fort Hood was terrorism-related. They say that "Lt. Gen. Mark Milley, III Corps commander at Fort Hood, said the shooter was a soldier who was under evaluation for post-traumatic stress disorder." They say that "the shooter, identified as 34-year old Ivan Lopez, is among the dead."
So they say. But these days, what brain-functional person believes what officials, even those in high positions of responsibility, say about events like this. Just yesterday, April 2, I was reading about Michael Morell, a former deputy director at the CIA, who told the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence "that the CIA ignored a key piece of information that was the exact opposite of what then-U.S. ambassador to the UN Susan Rice told the American public" about the attack on U.S. personnel in Benghazi that took the life of the U.S. ambassador to Libya, among others.
The information came from CIA officers on the ground in Libya, but Morell said "he did not believe there had been no protests, because there were press reports describing protests."

FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) — Investigators say the rampage that left three dead and 16 wounded last week at Fort Hood was related to a request for leave from the Army post by the shooter. Army spokesman Chris Grey did not indicate during a brief news conference Monday whether Spc. Ivan Lopez was granted the leave. Grey says the shooting spree Wednesday covered the equivalent of two city blocks as Lopez drive from one area to another on the Central Texas base randomly firing at soldiers. Grey mapped out how Lopez opened fire in the building where the argument began before leaving and driving away, shooting at times from his car. The three who died were gunned down in separate locations.
The rampage covered the equivalent of two city blocks. Grey said Lopez first killed one soldier and wounded 10 others in the first building — the dead being one of the men Lopez had argued with moments earlier. Lopez then drove to a motor pool area where the Army truck driver was assigned and worked, killing another, Grey said.
The last place Lopez entered was a block away at a medical building, Grey said, walking inside and killing a soldier behind the desk....
In all, investigators say Lopez fired more than 35 shots
comments: Non-muslim Non-Arab Non-Terrorist who does exactly the same thing as Major Hasan, and the not obviously connected to Taliban people who shot journalists in Afghanistan, and the non-terrorist who shot a military policeman on a destroyer, and the non-terrorist who shot up LAX and the non-terrorist who shot up the Navy yard. Having a bad day is one unlikely explanation but there is only one possible obvious reason that would completely explain the behavior, the same exact motive as Major Hasan who told the judge he was working for the Taliban. But who would recruit someone to do the work of the Taliban, as it would be so obvious even the media would figure it out.
Denying leave doesn't cause some one to go on a shooting rampage. This comes down to the same thing that military suicides comes down to. What that is I dont know, but it's the culture that is the problem, not the individuals who fall into it.

Ivan Lopez & Fort Hood Shooting #2: How Did It Happen Again? Another “Mentally Ill” Massacre?

In fact, the Al-Qaeda handbook–as I’ve pointed out many, many times before–recommends recruiting mentally ill, mentally disabled, or otherwise easily discredited individuals for jihad. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost five years since the Fort Hood Massacre by Nidal Malik Hasan, and even harder to believe that less than five years after that massacre, asimilar attack happened again, with three murdered and 16 injured. Is it impossible to stop an attack like this on a military base, where some soldiers are armed? I thought they changed the police and made soldiers surrender their arms on the base. So how did this guy pass muster? As I’ve asked before, “Is America Just Incompetent?”

Whether or not Ivan Lopez, the now-dead shooter and military man behind yesterday’s attack, was really crazy or just crazy like a fox, it begs the question: How Could This Happen Less Than Five Years After the Previous Fort Hood Massacre? Something isn’t right here. And I’m not talking about Lopez’s mind. He was, in fact, never diagnosed with PTSD. He was merely in the process of being examined and treated, reportedly having “sought” mental health treatment. In fiction novels–which we failed to take heed to before 9/11
How do we know that’s not what happened here? We don’t. And we’ll never know, now that this guy is dead. (BTW, despite that, I’m glad he’s dead–we don’t need endless Nidal Malik Hasan charades with anyone else.)
What do you think really happened here and how and why did it happen again? Are things really as we’re being told with this “deranged” gunman, “not tied to terrorism”?

FOX news referred to someone’s description as “soldier on soldier violence.” Of course, islamic jihadist Hasan was characterized as “workplace violence.” I suppose that in the not too distant future the 9/11 attacks will be dubbed as “flight path errors!”

The main problem is Islamic terrorists do use mentally unstable people to “test” the system. What they have discovered five years going on in the aftermath of Nidal Malik Hasan’s jihadist rampage is that security at Ft. Hood remains lax as ever. Stuff to know if you’re planning attacks on sensitive American targets.
We don’t want to be bothered by this possibility – or prefer to dismiss it as the random attack of a crazy gun man. After all, if there is nothing more menacing behind it, we get to live on with our assumed sense of invulnerability.
Islamic terrorists take full advantage of that mindset. The unanswered question is not when they will strike again but rather where. And we’re not serious at all about the probing attacks around this country and taking appropriate measures in response to them.
Another 9/11 is waiting to happen in the future. Count on it.

It said in one article that the building where the “crazy” Doc Nidal had his shooting spree was razed. I suppose the precedence has been set so they’ll raze the buildings where Lopez went jihad.
I now see that this is a conspiracy by peaceniks to ultimately force the Army to raze all of their buildings, all the soldiers with no place to go will then realize the foolishness of war and go home.

It smells like another false flag. Sandy Hook woke me up; my nephew is autistic and I just didn’t believe that an Asperger’s kid afraid of loud noises could do that. There’s a lot to tell, but the bottom line on something like Sandy Hook is to take away the Second Amendment rights of Americans to own guns. Anyone “crazy” (Obamacare decides if you’re crazy) or has served in the military will not be allowed to own a gun in the United States.
The news today (not reported in the mainstream media, of course) is that there was a Craigslist ad for Fort Hood “crisis actors,” just about a month ago. There was a “jihad” warning about Fort Hood a day or two before this happened. I have a very hard time believing that another Fort Hood massacre could happen under these circumstances.
The facts don’t matter and never will. Government will act right away–to declare that you’re crazy and to take away your guns. Thanks for serving the United States of America!

It is sad that this happened at Fort Hood again with our precious soldiers having to die and be injured. That and the fact the Obama butt monkeys in the media are falling all over themselves saying that Lopez was in no way linked to terrorism unlike Hasan. Speaking of Obama butt monkeys the Army upper Chain of Command still believes that the soldiers at Fort Hood should not carry guns while on base. We all know that Obama doesn’t really give a rats you know what about the troops and that Hagel and Army Sec. McHugh are dullards. However the JCS Chairman and Army Chief of Staff (both 4 star generals) should know better. I guess those cushy jobs at the Pentagon are just too good with Odimwit as CinC. With that knucklehead(thanks Moochelle) in charge you can expect more “workplace violence” on another military base.

Other possibility (maybe) — I noticed that many if not most of these shooters were on some type of prescription meds in the SSRI family. A look through the PDR shows some pretty hideous side-effects such as homicidal actions, etc. Given what I saw of Army medicine during my career I would not put it past the MEDDAC folks to take the easy way to treatment (give ‘em pills) rather than the full spectrum medical / psych support regimen. Just my theory…

This is another shooter who was reportedly on SSRI medications, like most of the non-Mooslim shooters before him. It seems obvious that there is a link between these SSRIs and the phenomenon of mass-killers that show up and start killing people for little apparent reason. The so-called “MSM” doesn’t ever seem to cover this, likely b/c they get big ad money from pharmaceutical companies, and also b/c they like to push their gun-control agenda.
