Police are speculating a botched robbery as one possible motive after a 66 year old African American judge in high profile Raymond Myles cases was killed and a 52 year old woman was also shot outside his South Side Chicago home. Gunman first shot the woman in the leg and then fired six shots at the judge as he came out and exchanged words. The judged had been beaten the year before in road rage incident and received recent threats.
