Saturday August 4, 2018  Armed Bystander Shoots Gunman At Crowded Florida Park Back To School Event  An armed bystander lawfully licensed with gun may have prevented a mass shooting when he shot a gunman who opened fire at a back to school cookout event at a public park in Titusville Florida following a fistfight. (1) The event was the Peace in the City" back-to-school give-away rally. The man who was shot was not identified but was hospitalized. The original shooter appeared to be in his early 20s. He was shot in the head after he ran toward the crowd and was confronted by a vendor. Titusville police have not released his name or any information about him. (6) There were more than 150 people including children in the crowd at the "Peace in the City" back-to-school rally. (6)   Police arrested the gunman after he was shot by the bystander. The armed bystander waited for and cooperated with officers.(2) 

November 14, 2017 Rancho Tehama Mass Shooting Not Terrorist Attack Kevin Neal​ opened fire at Rancho Tehama School in Corning Californa , killing five people before he was killed by police. The shooting started at a home where he killed his wife Barbara Glisan. and 3 neighbors and moved to the elementary school in Tehama County​ at around 8 am. The shooter was killed by law enforcement. A man reported that his truck was stolen and his roommate was shot and killed by the gunman earlier in the morning. Authorities announced they believe he as angry at his neighbors and was not a terrorist attack.

27 dead, 24 injured November 5, 2017 Sutherland Springs Texas Church Mass Shooting Sutherland Springs, Texas, church shooting. suspect is down after a pursuit. FBI is responding A single shooter walked into the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs and opened fire. Officials do not believe it is terrorism related. perpetrator was identified as 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley formerly a U.S. Air Force member who served in logistics readiness at Holloman Air Force Base Gunman threatened and may have targeted mother-in-law who attended the church. Discharged from the Air Force for beating his wife and child, divorced. Friends called him an outcast that was creepy. He reached out on facebook to friend people from the town.
