3/16/2018 Amherst College student athlete was murdered in Mexico, family says By Laura Crimaldi and Aimee Ortiz GLOBE STAFF  MAY 05, 2018  Andrew Dorogi of Amherst College.  AMHERST — The family of an Amherst College senior who was found dead in March in Mexico City [pushed onto subway tracks electrocuted?] said Friday that he was murdered.. Andrew Dorogi, 21, who grew up in Ohio and was scheduled to graduate from Amherst later this month, was killed while returning from a vacation with several friends to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico,  Dorogi’s body was found March 16. The US State Department has referred questions about the investigation to Mexican officials, and the Dorogi family had not previously spoken publicly about how he died.... he had not committed suicide, and that his death remained under investigation... issued a statement about a man whose body had been found on train tracks at a subway station outside Mexico City. The man, whom prosecutors did not identify, had been electrocuted and suffered burns, according to the statement. Prosecutors declined to say whether the man was Dorogi

April 25, 2018  He wanted to date a co-worker. So he killed her boyfriend, officials say  Washington Post  Kevin Prasad never seemed threatening. At least not to the woman whose boyfriend Prasad killed, authorities say. Prasad, 31, had spent months trying to woo the woman, who authorities say was his co-worker at San Francisco International Airport, .. security services. asked the woman to date him, at one point presenting her with a piece of jewelry. .. she had a 3-year-old child with her longtime boyfriend, 31-year-old Mark Mangaccat. Prasad and his friend, 25-year-old Donovan Matthew Rivera, now face the possibility of life in prison or the death penalty, Wagstaffe said. Both men are charged with first-degree murder, but with an enhancement of lying in wait — meaning that because the men allegedly ambushed Mangaccat  two men followed Mangaccat for nearly eight miles.. as Mangaccat backed into their garage, Prasad jumped out of the car, ran up to Mangaccat’s car and fired five or six shots at him, Wagstaffe said. Murphy, 42, is accused of being intoxicated when he allegedly was   reported to be driving erratically before the crash. Police were looking for him when he rear-ended a school bus carrying students from Hope Christian School in Milwaukee to the Wisconsin Dells resort park area.  The bus was pulled over and  parked because of a breakdown . 20 students were injured. 15-year-old Milwaukee girl remains in critical condition one day after. The driver was put in jail on tentative OWI charges.

Three employees fatally shot in just four days in Indianapolis INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A shooting at a gas station on Indy’s near northeast side Tuesday morning marks the third fatal shooting of a business employee in the last four days along with McDonalds employee who was also ambushed after an argument and Dollar general man trying to rob the store.   The shooting on Tuesday happened around 5 a.m. at the Shell gas station on the corner of 34th Street and Sherman Drive. IMPD says the victim was shot multiple times and rushed to Methodist Hospital where he later died. He was identified as Sheriff Jallow, 50. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, but officers say they do not believe this was a robbery.

The family says the victim got into an argument with a custargument with a customer who later ambushed and shot him here in the parking lot. (same as mcdonalds ambush)   Saturday, the family of 21-year-old Rheyshaun Roberts tells us he was working the drive-thru window at McDonalds near 16th and Tibbs when a customer got upset over an order.  The customer found Roberts while he was on a break and shot him in the head. Then on Sunday, 41-year-old Brian Eure was working at Dollar General on Emerson Way near East 56th Street when he was shot by a man trying to rob the store. Police say the suspect was in the store for 30 minutes before the robbery
