A car in Auburn, N.Y., that a man crashed into a tree while playing Pokémon Go on his smartphone late on July 12. That didn’t take long. A few days after a New York guy crashed his car playing Pokémon Go, a driver collided with an unoccupied Baltimore police car while goofing around with a smartphone. (Less than 24 hours later, another Pokémon Go-playing driver dinged another patrol car, this time in Rehoboth Beach, Del. Police said his wife directed her husband to whip into a parking spot because “there was a Pokémon Gym in that direction.” At least the guy wasn’t holding the phone.)
January 26, 2017 Grandfather Shot By Guard Was Playing Pokeman Go in His Car Jiansheng Chen, 60, was shot by a security guard while seated in his car was playing “Pokemon Go” when he was shot in his car in Chesapeake Virginia. The guard claims it was self defense as the man was trying to run him over but the victim's family says he was persevering, open-hearted and wise. Jiansheng Chen was shot during an altercation with a guard outside of a clubhouse in the River Walk community. The community is outraged and demanding murder charges, as teh security guard was charged with 2nd-degree murder.
