  1. 02/24/2018 Jeffrey Yao Alleged Winchester Library Stabbing Two stabbed, one fatally at Winchester Massachusetts library. Deane Kenny Stryker was sitting at a table in a reading room at the WinchesterP ublic Library when mentally ill Jeffrey Yao allegedly started stabbing her from behind with a 10-inch hunting knife, killing her and then stabbed 77-year-old Lester Taber who yelled to stop. Yao's lawyer says his client is mentally ill and that the attack was random, pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and armed assault with intent to murder. 
  2. February 2018 Mogadishu attack Two car bombings near the presidential palace in Mogadishu, Somalia, kill at least 38 people. Al-Shabaab claim responsibility for the attacks. (BBC)

  5. Terrorism in Myanmar Three bombs explode in Sittwe, the capital of Myanmar's Rakhine State, slightly injuring a police officer. Three other unexploded bombs are defused around the city. Man arrested after stabbing argument at Seattle's Westlake Station The Seattle Times | Man stabbed in Seattle bus tunnel, suspect in custody  A man was critically injured after he was stabbed in Seattle's bus tunnel Saturday afternoon. Police responded to reports of a disturbance at the bus tunnel at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street around 2:15 p.m.. When officers arrived, they found a man on the ground with a stab wound to the chest.  two men were having an argument just before the stabbing.
