January 21, 2016 1 injured, 1 arrested in "accidental" movie theater shooting Dane Gallion Accused Drunken Accidental Renton Movie Theater Shooting In Renton, Washington, Dane Gallion is accused of shooting a woman in the back during a showing of 13 Hours about the Benghazi terrorist attacks. He tells police that he had taken Xanax for anxiety, drank a 22 oz beer, took his gun because he was worried about mass shootings. He gave inconsistent accounts, but mentioned that reached for his gun because he thought somebody was about to touch him, then it slipped and accidentally went off, and he fled home. Based on police interviews, they believe indication that it was anything other than an unfortunate drunken paranoid accident, though some pondered if it might have been a deliberate terrorist psy-op shooting with hidden motives staged as an accident. A 40-year-old woman was seriously injured when she was shot in the chest but expected to recover. Gallion is a Puyallup native who played soccer at Vanguard University in California and has a legal concealed carry permit. Police say he kept the gun unholstered in his waistband. Gallion is the son of a retired Air Force colonel, married and working toward a master’s degree at the University of Washington, has “very strong ties to the community” and no criminal record according to police. A deliberate planned attack is ruled out by authorities, and it treated as an innocent careless accident Similar Florida Movie Lone Survivor Theater Shooting Kills One Over Texting, Lafayette LA Trainwreck shooting James Eagan Holmes Aurora Theater Mass Shooting Attack
