October 3, 2015 1 killed 4 arrested Kunio Hoshi Kunio Hoshi was a 66-year-old Japanese man who was shot by masked motorcycle gunmen in Rangpur, Bangladesh. He was second foreigner to be killed in  that  week. Police detained four suspects. The method of  attack was similar to the shooting on Tuesday of Italian national Cesare Tavella...."also carried out by three masked men who came by motorcycle and used a pistol". One of the four detained people was a rickshaw puller, and another was the owner of a residence near where the attack took place, police said.   Responsibility for his death was claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS).[1] Hoshi wad also known by the aliases Hi ta Kuchi and Golam Kibria.[2]  The jihadist group also said it killed Cesare Tavella, from Italy, in Dhaka’s diplomatic zone on 28 September 2015. Kunio Hoshi was killed near Rangpur in northern Bangladesh, five days after an Italian citizen was murdered in the capital of Dhaka. The Islamic State of Iraq and the levant claimed responsibility for killing Hoshi on Twitter, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, a US monitoring organization.[5] The jihadist group also said it killed Cesare Tavella, from Italy, in Dhaka’s diplomatic zone on 28 September 2015. Kunio Hoshi was shot three times in a remote rural region of Rangpur, where he had invested in a grass cultivation project Home ministry sources said the Japanese embassy in Dhaka expressed a desire for Hoshi to be buried in Islamic tradition in Bangladesh....
