The driver of the bus was also taken to the hospital to be drug-tested, which was standard procedure in a situation like this. The bus driver was unharmed.an investigation into the incident led to the bus driver's firing after he was found to be at fault for running a red light. Officials with STARS said the driver had worked for the company for three years, never had any incidents and was considered to be one of the best drivers on the staff.
