Authorities admit potential motive for first time
Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com - October 3, 2017
During a live press conference, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo revealed that the Las Vegas gunman, Stephen Paddock, may have been “radicalized” and that authorities were attempting to uncover the source of his radicalization.“Did this person get radicalized unbeknownst to us? And we want to identify that source,” said Lombardo. If confirmed, this suggests that there may have been a political motive behind the massacre. As Infowars reported earlier, according to forensic psychiatrist Dr. Michael Welner, Paddock may have deliberately targeted conservatives attending a country music concert.

[Editor’s note: Listening to this, we are hearing a machine gun, not an assault rifle, firing what sounds so be .30 cal, typically .308 or 7.62/54r. We counted a single 10-second, 60 round burst. We are going to follow this but nothing reported thus far as “found” in the room of the “lone gunman” is capable of this range, the sound, the rate of fire. We are awaiting a day of BS and deception. With a maniac in the White House and virtually no reporting on the ongoing criminal investigations, we will be watching Mr. Trump very closely. g]
[Editor’s note: There is now no doubt at all that this is a false flag, a completely fabricated narrative and Stephen Paddock is the Lee Harvey Oswald of this farce.
Paddock and his conversion to Islam, his supposed affiliation to ISIS, this is exactly analogous to Oswald’s conversion to and back from Communism and affiliation to the Fair Play for Cuba movement – in short, a BS cover story.
Just as Oswald didn’t riddle JFK and his limo with a bolt-action Carcano that had a wobbly scope and a broken magazine, Paddock didn’t kill over 50 concert goers and injure another 400-odd more, regardless of how many rifles he had in his hotel room.
I’m pretty sure that at least 500 rounds were fired in order to cause that number of casualties and they were fired in a short space of time; fully automatic fire in sustained bursts. I am pretty sure that a belt fed machine gun was what was really responsible, or rather, two or three of them, firing from far closer than the 600 or so yards and 300 foot elevation of Paddock’s room in the Mandalay Bay, mostly likely nearby rooftops and they were skilled, experienced shooters, men who knew how to handle a machine gun and lay down a ‘beaten zone’ of fire
Last time a POTUS was so unpopular, someone dreamed up a scheme to blow up the WTC and put a large hole in the Pentagon, a scheme that both resurrected the Dubya presidency and provided the cassus belli for a series of wars for profit that lined the pockets of the US elite

On October 1, 2017, a mass shooting occurred at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. A gunman opened fire on the outdoor festival crowd from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino across Las Vegas Boulevard during the closing performance by singer Jason Aldean.
The shooter was identified as 64-year-old Stephen Craig Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada. He was found dead in his hotel room with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident surpassed the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting as the deadliest mass shooting by a lone gunman in U.S. history, with at least 60 fatalities (including the perpetrator) and 527 injuries.

[hide]Background[edit]
The Route 91 Harvest country music festival has been held every year since 2014 at Las Vegas Village, a 15-acre (6.1-hectare) lot used for outdoor performances. The space is 450 meters (490 yards)[2] from the Mandalay Bay hotel in Paradise, Nevada,[3] on the opposite side of Las Vegas Boulevard.[4][1] On October 1, 2017, singer Jason Aldean gave the closing performance of the third and final day of the festival. The event was attended by about 22,000 people.[5]
Shooting[edit]
Paddock fired multiple rifle rounds into the festival audience from two windows that he had broken on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel.[6][7][8][9] The attack began during Aldean's performance at about 10:08 p.m. PDT.[7][9] Many people in the crowd initially mistook the gunfire for fireworks.[10] The gunfire continued intermittently over the course of ten minutes.[11]
By around 10:25 pm, a group of law enforcement officers had reached the hotel's 32nd floor and locked it down.[12] They announced themselves outside Paddock's suite and he fired through the door, wounding a hotel security guard.[13] At around 11:21 pm, police breached the room with explosives.[12] The perpetrator was found dead, having shot himself just before the police entered.[8][14][15][16] At 11:58 p.m. the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that one suspect was down.[17]
A large quantity of ammunition and 23 firearms were found, including AR-15-style, AK-47-style and .308 caliber rifles[18]; two of the rifles were mounted on tripods and were equipped with telescopic sights.[19][20] According to firearms instructor Massad Ayoob, audio recordings of the attack indicated that the perpetrator could have used a bump fire device or trigger system to simulate full automatic operation.[21] A bump fire stock was also found in the room.[22]
Casualties[edit]
At least 59 people were killed.[10] At least 527 people were injured,[10] some of whom were sent to hospitals that included the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.[4][23][24]
Perpetrator[edit]
The gunman was identified as Stephen Craig Paddock (April 9, 1953 – October 1, 2017)[25] who had been living in a retirement community in Mesquite, Nevada.[5][26]Police found 23 rifles and one handgun inside the hotel room that Paddock had occupied since September 28.[10][27] According to police, Paddock acted alone and his motive is unknown.[15][28][29][30] As of yet, the police have refrained from describing Paddock specifically as a terrorist.[31][32]
Paddock was a retired accountant and was reportedly affluent.[33] He owned and managed some apartment buildings with his mother.[26] He had previous residences in Reno, Nevada; California; Texas; and Central Florida.[25][34] He had been a licensed private pilot since at least 2003 and had previously owned two small aircraft.[35] He had a fishing license from Alaska.[26]
Police, relatives, and neighbors described Paddock as a gambler.[36] Police said that he had made recent casino transactions in the tens of thousands of dollars, but did not specify whether these transactions were losses or wins.[37]
Paddock's father Benjamin Hoskins Paddock was a bank robber who was placed on the FBI's most-wanted list in 1969 after he escaped from federal prison; he was taken off the list in 1977.[38][39]
Aftermath and reactions[edit]
A large portion of Las Vegas Boulevard was shut down as police SWAT teams combed the venue and neighboring casinos, hotels, and businesses. McCarran International Airport, immediately southeast of the festival site, was closed for several hours[40] and multiple flights were rerouted or canceled due to the shooting. Some of those escaping the shooting entered the airport property as they fled.[10] At 14:45 on October 2, a state of emergency was declared by Clark County.[41]
Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval called the shooting "a tragic and heinous act of violence that has shaken the Nevada family".[42] Via Twitter, President Donald Trump sent his "warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting".[43] In a public press conference the following morning, he declared the shooting an "act of pure evil", a "senseless murder", and a "terrible, terrible attack". He praised the "miraculous" quick response of first responders and announced he would visit them in Las Vegas on October 4, as well as survivors and victims' relatives.[44] Jason Aldean, who was performing when the shooting started, posted his condolences on Instagram and noted that all of those working with him at the show had survived the attack.[45]
Social media coverage[edit]
In the hours following the shooting, false information about the shooter's identity and motive, circulated by political fringe websites and internet forums, went viral on social media.[48] The conspiracy theorist Alex Jones tied the shooting to a supposed "Communist takeover of the country".[49] The far-right website The Gateway Punditmisidentified the shooter as one Geary Danley, supposedly a Democrat, and Google briefly highlighted the false report.[50] Two of Facebook's top trending pages were items from Sputnik, a Russian government news agency that has been described as a propaganda outlet. Google and Facebook were criticized for prominently displaying such fake news in their search results.[51] Facebook later admitted that their system automatically promoted fake Vegas massacre stories, and said that they would fix the issue.[52]

It took investigators several days to realize just how well Paddock had covered almost all of his bases. “The methodical nature of the planning employed by Paddock, coupled with his efforts to undermine the preceding investigation, are factors indicative of a level of sophistication which is commonly found in mass casualty events such as this,” (also consistent with nation state intelligence agency spies) holographic weapon sight whose average cost is about $400, was made in September through an Amazon account

10 Reasons Why the Las Vegas Shooting Has Disappeared from Headlines
Nov 17th, 2017
few facts that we know thus far, and they seem to raise more questions than answers:
1. The official timeline of the mass shooting has been changed at least three different times.
2. Paddock wired $100,000 to an account located in the Philippines a week prior to the massacre.
3. Investigators claim Paddock’s laptop was missing its hard drive when they found it in his hotel room.
4. Paddock reportedly took cruises that made port stops in the Middle East.
5. Authorities now claim an officer discharged his weapon in Paddock’s hotel room – after denying it for the first month after the attack. (This raises the question of why police discharged a weapon if Paddock had already committed suicide prior to law enforcement breaching the room? And why they lied about it after the fact.)
6. Security guard Jesus Campos, who reportedly came across Paddock as he began his attack was allegedly shot in the leg, but a spokesperson for UMC Quick Care, the walk-in health clinic facility Campos supposedly went to after being shot, said they had “heard nothing” about Campos visiting them.
7. During an interview on Fox News with Tucker Carlson, an attorney for the victims revealed that not only did police officers respond to Campos after he was shot, they were right outside of Paddock’s door before he began shooting out of his hotel room window.
“As of yesterday it was that two—we knew about Campos—but there were two other police officers from MGM that were on the floor prior to the shooting,” Craig Eiland said.
video of Saipov, an Uzbekistan native, was released. There has yet to be a single image of Stephen Paddock released from the thousands of security cameras.
10. Campos disappeared days after the shooting, reportedly leaving the country, thus, being a no-show to numerous scheduled television news interviews. Upon his return to the U.S., he did a softball, scripted, interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where no penetrating journalism, nor tough questions were asked. The interview was almost comical in the sense that DeGeneres did more narrating of the actual events than Campos, which allowed for him to not divulge any information.
yet we have seen no video footage, or even stills — of Paddock.
Additionally, as we previously reported, 4 survivors of the attack have died under somewhat questionable circumstances.

Here's Why ISIS Claimed the Las Vegas Shooting, and Why It's Less Crazy Than You Think

It’s hard to believe this, but the top two theories right now are:

2. He’s ISIS.
Those aren’t mutually exclusive. And yes, please indulge your double-standard race theories.
As for the ISIS part, I have a background in global threat analysis and can speak from authority. We should consider it closely, because it might be true. But even if we learn it’s bullshit (highly, highly likely) we can still learn a lot. So I’ll touch on three things here:

Washington Post Checkpoint The Las Ve gas shooter had 23 guns. Here’s what we know about them.So far, at least one has been identified as an AK-47 type rifle, outfitted with a stand to steady it and improve accuracy, said people close to the ongoing probe. Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said the weapons that have been recovered range in caliber from .223, which is associated with AR-15 style rifles, and .308, which is a caliber commonly used in hunting rifles. Lombardo was unsure if any of the weapons were automatic. Scopes were also recovered on the scene, and at least one firearm was a handgun.
Paddock’s choice of a firing position from as far as 500 yards from the stage at a high overlook suggests a plan of attack to fire into a densely packed area where accuracy would not be a top concern. That distance is about the 500-yard effective range for an M-4, but machine guns typically have longer barrels which extend range. A weapon such as the M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon, or SAW, is effective at 800 meters for individual targets.

'The shots just kept coming': Mass shooting unfolds at country music festival
By Michael S. Rosenwald, Devlin Barrett and Alex Horton October 2 at 7:32 PM
Stephen Paddock’s lethal attack on a Las Vegas country music festival Sunday night was distinguished from most mass shootings by two features: the size of the arsenal he smuggled into the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and the great height from which he shot. One of the weapons Paddock apparently used in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history was an AK-47-type rifle, with a stand to steady it for firing, according to people familiar with the case. Investigators believe at least one of the guns functioned as if it were fully automatic
actic echoed two earlier mass shootings, most notably Charles Whitman’s 1966 attack from atop the University of Texas Tower. The ex-Marine sharpshooter killed 17 and wounded more than 30, including a pregnant student shot in the belly.
Michael Soles, a 19-year-old dumped by his girlfriend, chose the top of a Holiday Inn in Wichita to shoot and kill three people while wounding eight others.
But Paddock was far higher than either Whitman or Soles. Lombardo estimated that he was shooting at victims at least 500 yards away.
The M240 has been used by the United States Armed Forces since the late 1970s. It is used extensively by infantry, most often in rifle companies, as well as on ground vehicles, watercraft and aircraft. Despite being heavier than some comparable weapons, it is highly regarded for reliability and its standardization among NATO members is a major advantage.
It is perfectly LEGAL to own this gun in Nevada – as long as the gun is older than 30 years old.
