October 18, 2018 West Seattle Health Club RV Accidentally Crashes Into Pool Unknown Reason It is unclear why an bus seen before at a nearby RV encampment crashed into the side of the pool area hitting a gas meter and started a gas leak and fire of the West Seattle Health Club. (1) (2) Two people were seen running from the crash, as they left a large hole in a wall and $700,000 in damage. (7) (3) It was the second crash since a crash in the parking lot in July (1) Seattle Fire investigators called the crash an “accident” on Thursday. Seattle Police are classifying it as a felony hit-and-run. The driver fled the scene and is still at large.(5) Apparently there was no reason to believe it might have been a deliberate attack targeting a gas meter. There were no reports that the suspects had been identified or arrested.
