Saturday, February 23, 2019  East Tennessee woman was wanted and arrested  on a vehicular homicide charge.  after the weekend hit-and-run death of a Chattanooga police officer Nicholas Galinger.  Janet Elaine Hinds faces nine charges in the death of Officer Nicholas Galinger, including vehicular homicide, reckless driving, and speeding. Sunday evening, police approached the white Honda CRV with a shattered windshield parked at Janet's suspected home, with their guns drawn. At 10:20 p.m. Sunday evening, officers called for Janet's surrender at the Soddy-Daisy Post Office.  She works there as postmaster, according to U.S Postal Service representative Susan Wright. Susan says she's currently employed with them, and has been since 1986. (1)
