Two dead, one seriously injured in head-on collision KWCH  (KWCH) According to Kansas Highway Patrol, two people are dead and another seriously injured after two vehicles struck each other head-on. 3:00 p.m. Friday near Altoona in Wilson County.  According to the crash logs, Crites's vehicle was traveling west-bound on K-47 when it traveled left of the center line into the east-bound lane. The vehicle Gober and Goins were in was traveling east-bound on K-47 at that time and the two vehicles collided head-on.
