October 15, 2014 WA shooting spree targets 3 police departments, two sergeants injured - CBS News Initially, an unoccupied patrol car was shot at the Granite Falls Police Department,  then shots were fired at the nearby Lake Stevens Police Department. No one was hurt in those two shootings, then gunfire erupted in Marysville area where officers had been looking for a white pickup truck. Mackenzie Harris, 17, of Marysville, told a local station that she was outside with a friend when she saw officers pull over a pickup truck. The truck driver then pulled out a gun and started shooting. Investigators found several guns in and near the truck driven by the suspect. The city says someone threw a chunk of asphalt at its head and they're investigating whether it was an employee or a visitor. When “Jasper” the Tasmanian devil was found dead on Wednesday it was unclear if it was an accident or if another devil killed him.
