Moroccans are overrepresented in "diaspora terrorism", that is terrorism which takes place outside the borders of Morocco. For example, two Moroccans were behind the 2017 London Bridge attack and a Moroccan killed people by driving his van into pedestrians in La Rambla in the 2017 Barcelona terrorist attacks, and a day after another Moroccan killed two women in the 2017 Turku attack.[7]

17 December 2018 Murders of Hiker in Morocco Louisa Vesterager Jespersen and Maren Ueland bodies of Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, a 24-year-old Danish woman, and Maren Ueland, a 28-year-old Norwegian woman, were found decapitated in the foothills of Mount Toubkal near to the village of Imlil in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. total of 18 men have been arrested by Moroccan Police in relation to the murders. The murders have been described as a terrorist act by the Moroccan general prosecutor after a video of some of the suspects swearing allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant was released on the Internet.

June 19, 2018 Murder of Sophia Lösche By Moroccan Truck Driver   28-year-old female student and pro-migration activist in Germany was killed after she hitched a ride with a Moroccan truck driver and murdered at a highway stop in Upper Franconia. On 19 June 2018, a Moroccan lorry driver was arrested south of Madrid. On June 29 2018, the German public prosecutor's office and police in Bayreuth announced that her remains had been found in Asparrena in northern Spain and identified using DNA tracing.[7][3] She had traveled to the Greek island Lesbos as a volunteer for the No Borders NGO to cook for migrants arriving from Turkey. According to her brother, Lösche was involved in several initiatives "against racism, freedom of movement and opening of borders". On August 2018, her family initiated legal action against those who used her picture to further a political agenda when an anti-immigration group carried banners with pictures Lösche among other murder victims. Suspect Boujemaa L. was sent from Spain back to Germany. Victim's brother brother Andreas Lösche, a member of the Green party and a local politician in the Bavarian city of Bamberg, wrote after the arrest of the 40-year-old trucker: “We would like to point out that the nationality of a possible perpetrator has nothing to do with his actions.

August 18, 2017 Finland Turku terrorist stabbing spree by Moroccan asylum seeker 10 people were stabbed in central Turku, killing 2 and injuring 8 women in central Turku Southwest Finland. Suspect, a 22 year-old Moroccan asylum seeker Abderrahman Bouanane was detained but at first police did not revealed a motive and said it was too early to tell whether the attack was terror-related two murders. the supect is now charged with eight attempted murders committed with terrorist intent". after first lying about his name and age. Finnish Security Intelligence Service called the attack was "a likely terror act"targeting women which would maked it the first terrorist attack in Finland since the end of World War II. the youth had been Flagged for Islamist Extremist Views around the time he was denied asylum. The IslamicState has not claimed responsibility. Intelligence services did not see any specific threat. Mr. Mechkah had passed through Germany in late 2015 and early 2016 as part of the wave of muslim refugees.

17 August 2017 2017 Barcelona terrorist attacks Several of suspects born in Morocco.  22-year-old Younes Abouyaaqoub drove a van into pedestrians on La Rambla in Barcelona, Spain, killing 13 people and injuring at least 130 others, one of whom died 10 days later on 27 August. Abouyaaqoub fled the attack on foot, then killed another person in order to steal the victim's car to make his escape. Nine hours after the Barcelona attack, five men thought to be members of the same terrorist cell drove into pedestrians in nearby Cambrils, killing one woman and injuring six others. All five of those attackers were shot and killed by police.


20 June 2017 2017 Brussels attack  a terrorist bomb caused a small explosion at Brussels Central Station in Brussels, Belgium; there were no casualties. A man is shot in Brussels Central Station amid reports of an attempted bombing attack. (BBC) . Soldiers patrolling the station killed the suspect with 3 to 4 shots, according to eyewitnesses. The perpetrator was Oussama Zariouh, a 36-year-old Moroccan national who lived in the Molenbeek district of Brussels and who had assembled a defective explosive device.

3 June 2017, 2017 London Bridge attack a terrorist vehicle-ramming and stabbing took place in London, England. A van was deliberately driven into pedestrians on London Bridgebefore crashing on the south bank of the River Thames. Its three occupants then ran to the nearby Borough Market area and began stabbing people in and around restaurants and pubs. The attackers were Islamists inspired by Islamic State (ISIS).[8] Two Moroccans were involved.
January 7, 2016 French police shoot dead a knife-wielding man, who was shouting "Allahu Akbar", outside a police station in Goutte d'Or, located in the 18th arrondissement ofParis. A piece of paper with an Islamic State flag and claim for the attack written in Arabic was found on his body. The incident is noted for taking place on the anniversary of last year's Charlie Hebdo shooting. Suspect identifed as Arab muslim Moroccan-born Sallah Ali, born in 1995 in Casablanca, a homeless man who had been arrested for petty theft. Among his possessions, investigators found an ISIS flag and a note claiming responsibility.

3 December 2011, Nordine Amrani Not Muslim Not Arabic Speaking Moroccan Arab Not Terrorist A non-terrorist motivated murder–suicide attack took place in the city of Liège in the Wallonia region of Belgium by a French-speaking Belgian of Arab islamic nation of Moroccan origin who could not speak Arabic nor was he Muslim. Investigators said repeatedly that the motive was not terrorism. According to his lawyers, he launched his attack on Christmas shopping crowds because knew that he was going to be sent back to prison and had a "grudge against society"

On December 12, 2009 al-Khattab posted a video on the group's website announcing that he had retired and was moving to Morocco
