  3. American involvement in the Somali Civil War United States-supported Somali forces shoot and kill 10 Somalis, including three children, in Lower Shebelle's Bariire village near Mogadishu. While the Somalia government reports the other dead were members of the al Shabaab militia, Lower Shabelle deputy governor Ali Nur Mohamed says the victims were all civilians, farm owners, workers and their children.   5. August 2017 Brussels attack  two soldiers were injured in a stabbing near the Grand Place in Brussels by Haashi Ayaanle, a 30-year-old male Somali immigrant who was fired when he attempted to attack fellow workers with a screwdriver

  3. FLORIDA GAINESVILLE DRIVE BY MASS SHOOTING 4 shot injured  4 teens shot when westbound car fired at people on the sidewalk. The driver continued on and the car was not located

Amaq News Agency claimed that the Islamic State was responsible for the attack. Palmer was sentenced to 24 months in state prison after pleading to second-degree manslaughter.
