November 6, 2018 Canada Sherwood Park Community Centre Explosions 1 suspect killed. 2 explosions rocked a multi-level parking ramp at the Strathcona County Community Centre in Sherwood Park in the Edmonton area in Canada. (1) One explosion was deliberately set, which damaged other cars, one of which exploded after it caught fire a couple of hours later. A 21 year old suspect Kane Kosolowsky shot and killed himself after the blasts, and multiple firearms but no additional explosives were found in his car. (3) The center was closed for days. His family and authorities have no idea of a motive, and he was not tied to any group or ideology (2)  Police later confirmed Kosolowsky purposely caused an explosion underneath a half-tonne truck on the lower level parkade using some sort of explosive. He was found seriously injured after the initial explosion and died at the hospital from a gunshot wound after he had shot himself. (5)
