September 10, 2017 Spencer James Hight 2017 Plano mass shooting In Plano Texas, Spencer James Hight armed with several guns got into an argument then shot and killed eight people at a Dallas-area home where estranged gunman'swife Meredith Hight hosted first party since departure of ex-husband to watch the Dallas Cowboys on TV. Meredith had filed for divorce, and the gunman was said to be angry that she had moved on. Witness saw man was arguing with a woman standing outside the house.  Other victims were 33-year-old Anthony Michael Cross; 24-year-old Olivia Nicole Deffner; 29-year-old James Richard Dunlop; 22-year-old Darryl William Hawkins; 31-year-old Rion Christopher Morgan; 28-year-old Myah Sade Bass; and 25-year-old Caleb Seth Edwards.  The gunman was then killed after exchanging fire with a Plano Police Department officer.  Spencer Hight had moved out of the house months earlier, but had only recently collected the last of his belongings. She said “he was an alcoholic and that she worked for two years to try and help him.”  had a drinking problem and was a “party animal” who loved guns, knives and swords. Spencer was violent with her at least twice, including a time in the fall of 2016 when he slammed her face into a wall,  Spencer lost his job shortly after they bought the house together, and Meredith paid the mortgage on her own.. Spencer Hight worked as an analyst for HCL Technologies, a software company that is based in India, was suffering from o chronic back pain. Police investigating earlier assault in nearby bar where one of the suspects in the assault matched the description of the shooter. Spencer Hight does not appear to have had a criminal record

Alternative theory - was domestic violence against ex-wife a cover story for mass shooting terrorist attack at a Dallas Cowboys football watching house party? Used same weapons and tactics as a terrorist who shoots at police.
