- 2 killed, suspect killed November 15, 2014 Linfield College football player stabbed and killed, suspect fatally shot after game 20 year old Parker Moore from Woodinville WA was fatally stabbed Saturday night at a 7-Eleven next to the campus of Linfield College in McMinnville Oregon. The police investigation believes it could have been anyone who was stabbed to death. The suspect had no connection to Moore or the small private college. Police shot and killed the suspect when he returned to the scene and menaced them with a knife and chose suicide by cop rather than flee. He's either a random victim, or the latest of a series of seemingly random attacks on college athletes for no apparent motive. "We don't really have any reason as to why," Yamhill County Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. Tim Svenson said of his motive or choice of target.
