10/15/2017 Jesus Fabian Gonzales Arrested Suspicion Wine Country Fires Arson  Homeless illegal immigrant Jesus Fabian Gonzalez was arrested by Three Sonoma County Probation officers patrolling the area because of ongoing deadly fires saw a man at 3:00 p.m.walking out of the creek area and a plume of smoke behind him wearing a trench coat, was carrying a lighter and fire extinguisher. After they asked if he started the fire, he admitted he started the fire because it was cold though it was "to keep warm" near a bridge in Maxwell Farms Park Sonoma County. He is Sonoma County jail on arson charge and a  misdemeanor drug warrant from Ventura County. Immigration authorities asked to detain him for deportation but Sheriff Rob Giordano refused citing cases where administrative detainers are unconstitutional.   ICE complained of Sonoma County's repeated releases of dangerous criminal aliens  compained it had sought to detain Gonzales four times in the last year and found it "troubling in light of the massive wildfires devastating the region". The cause of the wildfires, which are still burning across multiple counties, is still under investigation but InfoWars and Breitbart falsely connected the arrest to the massive deadly fires which killed 41, but there was no evidence he had started those fire (other than he had a habit of setting many fires before so it's obvious he could have) Giordano said (also incorrrectly) "There’s no indication he’s related to these fires at all" though it is entirely possible and likely somebody like him set a fire this way to make it look like an innocent accident in a clandestine act of domestic terrorism.

Details: Jesus Fabian Gonzalez was arrested Sunday, a week after numerous firestorms broke out across the region, on felony arson charges. He told deputies he set the fire at Maxwell Farms Park to keep warm. Jesus Fabian Gonzalez was arrested for setting a small fire near the bridge where he had been living in Sonoma County on Oct. 15, a week after the major fires began. He told deputies he set a fire  to stay warm. Sheriff’s Deputy John Grohl was called to the scene and it was so small that he extinguished the harmless fire, which was then completely doused by Sonoma Valley Fire Protection District personnel. He is being held on $200,000 bail. charged with one felony count of arson.
