Terrorist attack on Amarnath Yatra (2017) At least 7 people are killed and 15 injured after gunmen fire upon a pilgrimage bus and a police vehicle, on the 11th day of the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage in the Indian city of Anantnag.   3. Disasters and accidents Camden Market fire A large fire breaks out at the Camden Markets in North West London, complex is owned by Israeli billionaire giving rise to conspiracy theories of a terrorist attack but no evidence of a deliberate attack. 
  4. 2017 United States Marine Corps KC-130 crash A United States Marine Corps Lockheed C-130 Hercules military transport aircraftcarrying sixteen people has crashed near the American town of Greenwood, Mississippi.   5. Crimes in Ireland  A 3 year-old boy is stabbed to death in an incident in the Poddle Park area of Kimmagein Dublin, Ireland. The child's mother, believed to be an Iranian national, is being treated for knife wounds in hospital. (RTÉ)
  6. The Sixth Extinction Between 1900 and 2015, around 177 species of mammals have lost 80% of their distribution leading to a presumption that the Holocene extinction is accelerating. (Wired)
  7. Murder of Yuri Bogozhnev By Haifa Arab Neighbor Couple stabs aand murders their Jewish neighbor Yuri Bogozhnev who had loaned them money, robs him and torches his apartment.

July 10, 2017  Murder of Yuri Bogozhnev By Haifa Arab Neighbor Tomer Hujirat, 27, Israeli-Arab man from Haifa and his girlfriend Karin Samnudi, 25, were charged with the crime spree and murder of 56-year old Jewish neighbor Yuri Bogozhnev involving assault, stabbing, stealing an ATM password, robbery and torching his apartment.
