Evil Empire Round Up: Hezbollah Apologist Franklin Lamb Defending Gaddafi Edition

    Posted by mah29001 on March 3, 2011
I am pretty sure Franklin Lamb will probably get aquianted with the likes of the Libyan verison of Yusuf al-Qaradawi should that particular Libyan replace Gaddafi in the long run and defend the likes of him and his horrible regime that’ll be much worse than Gaddafi’s.  Why is it that Palestinian apologists just do not seem to mind anti-American dictators…but lecture that the ones who happen to be pro-US be removed instead?  It’s as if almost they’re having it both ways.
Here’s more on the Evil Empire Round Up:
    • It seems America’s “allies” in Kosovo are letting their people be radicalized into Jihadism with one of them recently targeting U.S. soldiers in Germany.
    • Why isn’t the Russian government not caring about Saudi Arabia or Iran who are fueling most of the revolts going on in the Middle East?  But don’t tell Russia and its Russia Today propaganda network that a Saudi cleric is the recent Islamic radical to come out to demand Gaddafi goes down in flames.
    • Isn’t the Workers’ World Party quite two-faced?  They didn’t mind supporting the “democracy rallies” that were going on in Egypt…but not if they are in Libya….and why are they ignoring that the Iranians and the Saudis are acting more like the French monarchy during the American Revolution?
    • Looks like Comrade Danny Glover, a well known proponent for Communism around the world, is supporting the unions in Wisconsin and in other states.
    • It seems that Birther proponent James David Manning is still attacking the Tea Party Movement and Glenn Beck for refusing to endorse his Birther conspiracy about Obama…but can someone please tell some ObamaBots that the Tea Party Movement doesn’t endorse this crap?  Aside from that…why isn’t Manning not attacking Russia Today or Alex Jones for being anti-American as much as he’s attacking Obama for being anti-American?
    • Seems like anti-Semite and Jew-hater SonsOfLiberty1765USA is doing his best to hijack any YouTube threads, along with using his YouTube channel to push anti-Semitic Jew-hate…besides that he is also a supporter of Hezbollah just like Franklin Lamb, and also endorses other Palestinian terror groups…but he promises he’s a Christian folks…
    • Why is it that Leftists look upon socially Conservative Christians with suspicion if they say they are promoting interfaith…but don’t care for the same when Islamic radicals promote an obvious lie?
And ending this Evil Empire Round Up, in a twist of good fate, an African-American news reporter had saved the ironic life of a white supremacist…a Jew would likely have done the same in also saving the life of the same man….but hey…when some of them are so hooked on hate it’s hard for them to overcome it.

    Franklin Lamb = Hezbollah Propagandist

    Posted by mah29001 on November 20, 2010
Isn’t this quite the obvious that VeteransToday.com obviously just doesn’t seem to mind to stick up for a well known terrorist group like Hezbollah?  VeteransToday.com apparently doesn’t seem to mind being a proponent for Islamic terror groups like Hezbollah or have their people promote articles and people like Franklin Lamb who support the terrorists
Franklin Lamb is a psuedo-journalist who associates himself with psueod-patriots like those of VeteransToday.com to shill for Islamic terrorists like Hezbollah.  How can these hypocrites get away with talking about allege Israeli spies…but don’t mind defending Islamic terrorists?  And one must wonder if Palestinian terror groups in general are supporting these anti-Semitic websites like VeteransToday.com.  Would make sense…cuss it seems that no mainstream disability rights group has even bothered to support VeteransToday.com which its chief senior editor Gordon Duff claims to be a disabled veteran.

    who is franklin lamb?

You’d think that if he was an accredited American academic in Beirut there would be some web CV, but there isn’t. All I can find is this. I’ve emailed Counterpunch to ask for some background and some assessment of his stuff in terms of its actual corroborability, among other things. This is obviously nothing to do with this thread, but it is interesting in that Glenn has devoted a great deal of his own time (and credibility) to scrutinising the mechanism whereby Pentagon propaganda gets pumped via ostensibly neutral journalism into the public domain, and by doing so he has incurred charges of pandering to kumbaya singing lefties, so rather than engage in ad hominems, it seems appropriate to ask whether the lefties also have their own phony journalists pumping out propaganda. I find the psychology of it fascinating anyway, in that when the propaganda is designed to support positions I actually sympathise with (and I can’t say that about the Pentagon stuff) I get a chance to observe my own psychology doing something dodgy.

i changed your long url to a tinyurl.
I saw that but it doesn’t convince me of anything. there should be an institutional CV.
try googling the “Institute for Middle East Policy Dialogue.” There’s no “there” there.
