February 28, 2014  Natalie Merriam Hulme Carjacks Children  In Federal Way, Washington, Natalie Merriam Hulme, a disheveled woman from Lakewood seeking a ride waited for a mother to leave her truck to get in and drive away with her 2 daughters inside. The incident was witnessed by Jung Do and on video. Hulme stopped by a golf course in Kent and walked away through moving traffic. She started pulling on car doors until found an open one where she sat on a pregnant woman that she started hitting in the belly before a man pulled her out and saw the she was foaming at the mouth and "out of it". She broke her hand in a scuffle with police in Kent that found her. Hulme has a criminal record, including hit and run, forgery, and theft, and faces kidnapping and motor vehicle theft charges.

Private Eye Suspects Foul Play in Mysterious Texas Death

The death of Alfred Wright, 28, has upended the small town of Jasper, Texas. Wright had been last seen Nov. 7. He went missing after his truck broke down. He was found dead 19 days later in an area where the police claimed they had already searched. At the time, authorities suspected a drug overdose. But his family was skeptical, so they hired a pathologist, as well as private investigator Chuck Foreman. In an exclusive interview with ABC News, Foreman said police failed to properly investigate Wright's disappearance and death. "They have not interviewed the family, they have not searched the truck, they just didn't do the due diligence that you demand from law enforcement," Foreman said.

2. February 25, 2014 Woman Dragged, Killed By Yard Truck In Bellevue A yard truck meant to be driven only in a trailer yard venture out into a busy intersection near a Coca Cola plant. It drove into the curb, running over and dragged a woman who died.

February 25, 2014 Murder of Arlington TX Red Wing Shoes Manager Suspect later arrested as 21-year-old Jacob Galen Everett shot the manager of an Arlington Texas Red Wing Shoes store manager in an apparent robbery. A white Toyota Tacoma pickup was identified in a video, and was found to have been traded in for a Ford Fusion which led to the home of the suspect, which was searched and he was arrested. No motive has been identified for the shooting.

His body was found February 22 in a rail tunnel due to "unclear circumstances". Portland Press Herald: Durkin was found without any identification, which is why it took so long to identify him. went to the bar with friends who left at about 1:30 a.m. while he remained. 1 Teen Dead, 2 Injured in Pasadena Triple Shooting

Authorities continued an investigation Tuesday morning into a triple shooting in Pasadena that left one teen dead and two other teens injured. reported around 9:45 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of El Sereno Avenue (map), according to police. When officers arrived, they discovered that three teens had been shot in front of a residence. One of the victims — an unidentified 19-year-old–died. A 17-year-old and another 19-year-old were taken to a local hospital and treated for their wounds.

Two men in a car pulled up, as one got out then opened fire on the victims. The motive was unclear but the victim appeared to be targeted, as the suspects escaped.

Suspect in Murder of Elderly White Man Sentenced One of two people charged with the death of a 74 year old rural Secor man last year was sentenced in Woodford County court Thursday. Rayshawn Johnson received a 50 year sentence for the dismemberment murder of Oakley Mitchellwhose remains were found last year in Woodford and McLean Counties. Johnson is the boyfriend of Mitchell's former caregiver, Vishawn Mills who appears in court next month. Johnson must serve 100 percent of the sentence. During his sentencing hearing, Johnson apologized to the victim's family. Mitchell was shot five times, dragged to a burn pit and lit on fire. Mitchell's charred remains were later found in the Mackinaw River in both McLean and Woodford Counties. Man slashes elderly White woman's throat in Lexington Kroger store, police say Lexington police arrested a man who allegedly attacked and cut a woman inside a grocery store Wednesday afternoon. The woman in her 70s had her throat slashed with a sharp instrument in the Kroger at 150 West Lowry Lane Lane off Nicholasville Road, said Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, Roberts said. No one else was hurt. Police charged Corey Lane Cummins, 43, with first-degree assault in connection with the attack. He was lodged in the Fayette County jail. February 5, 2014 89 year old mother of Rev. Anthony Cossavella was found murdered in her home in Landdowne Pennsylvania. Police could not think of anyone with cause to harm the woman. There were no signs of forced entry to her home, and nothing appeared ransacked.

Employee Crashes Into Florida Ford Dealership And Starts Shooting Just before 10:30 a.m. today, Earl Edward Clauge, Jr., 51, an employee of Timberland Ford in Perry, Fla., crashed a vehicle into the front of the dealership, exited the vehicle, and began shooting.
