13 January 2019 Paweł Adamowicz Poland Mayor Assassination  Paweł Bogdan Adamowicz was a Polish politician and lawyer who served as Mayor of the city of Gdańsk was stabbed during a live charity event in Gdańsk and died the following day from his injuries, at the age of 53. The attacker  grabbed the microphone and told the stunned crowd he had been wrongly imprisoned for bank robberies under a Civic Platform-led government.“I was jailed but innocent. ... Civic Platform tortured me. That’s why Adamowicz just died,”Identified by authorities only as Stefan W., he was arrested and charged Monday with murder. Although most media did not call it an act of terrorism even though the motive was political,  Andrew Stroehlein called it an act of extreme-right terrorism and Antonio TAJANI, President of the European Parliament spoke about the death of Pawel Adamowicz and the  fight against violence and terrorism, asking for  one minute of silence for the victims of terrorism.
