    June 3, 2015 Boston’s Wannabe Beheader ‘Liked’ ISIS Enough to Kill Before he was shot and killed by police on Tuesday, Usaama Rahim “liked” the Islamic State of Iraq and allegedly planned to murder cops. Usaama's brother, Ibrahim Rahim, a prominent imam in the Boston community, tells a different story. He said the officers shot Usaama three times in the back. Ibrahim posted his account on Facebook shortly after the shooting. His last words were, “I can’t breathe,” he wrote. But Facebook account of Usaama, ties Usaama to an ISIS Facebook group. The account is listed as Abu Sufyaan, but gives Usaama al-Rahim as the name in Arabic. A friend of Rahim’s confirmed to The Daily Beast that this was Usaama’s account. On Rahim’s Facebook profile, he “likes” The Islamic State of Iraq.  In March of 2013, Rahim changed his Facebook cover photo to an image of a long jetty reaching out to the water with the caption, “Let not the opinions of man interfere with the directions given to you by God.” Many of his Facebook likes are preachers and sites linked with salafism, an ultra-conservative school of Islam. Variants of the school are practiced in Saudi Arabia, a country with which Rahim’s Facebook page shows a fascination, and terrorist groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda. Wright is being charged with destroying Rahim's smartphone "with intent to impede, obstruct, or influence an investigation." ... he started to become more religious sometime around 2009.  Wright’s Facebook profile, he lists himself as 25 years old and an attendee at Bunker Hill Community College. Usaama Rahim is one of his nine friends in that account. He is also friends with Ibrahim Rahim. his apparent facebook: I have to dump some skeletons insha'Allah, Alhamdulillah lets push forward," he wrote on June 7 of that year... links to 2012 movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado. The profile posted a link to Alex Jones’s radio show, suggesting the massacre—which left 12 people dead and 70 injured—may have been staged by the U.S. government to promote gun control.  Ibrahim Rahim, the Boston imam, has a history of decrying police brutality but also radical Islamist violence.

    1 killed, suspect possible suicide attack May 30, 2015 Moorhead ND Man Witness Believes Man Deliberately Stopped To Cause Train Crash  In Moorhead, near Fargo North Dakota. One of the only people to witness the deadly train, truck crash says he believes the driver purposely stopped on the tracks to get hit. Troy Blevins saw the truck get it and heard it explode, and took pictures. Usually no one suspects someone stopping or driving on tracks is trying to get hit by the train.  "it sure honestly looked to be that someone tried to do that, it's the only thing I can think of that they stopped, it made me ill, sad," says Blevins. Victim was identified as 80 yr old Gerald Sinclair. Two witnesses saw the truck go through the crossing after lights flashed and gates came down, and train was unable to stop in time.

        The MV Dong Fang Zhi Xing (Chinese: 东方之星; pinyin: Dōng Fāng Zhī Xīng, roughly translated as Oriental Star or Eastern Star) was a river cruise ship owned by the Chongqing Eastern Shipping Corporation and operated by Xiehe Travel, making tourist cruises in the Three Gorgesarea.[1] On 1 June 2015, the ship was struck by a cyclone while traveling on the Yangtze river in Hubei Province while carrying more than 450 people on board.

        History[edit]

        The MV Dong Fang Zhi Xing was constructed in February 1994 with a total capacity of 543 people.[2] The ship was 76 metres (250 ft) long with a beam of 14 metres (45 ft).[3]

        Sinking[edit]

        On 1 June 2015 while making a 1,500km (930 mile) trip from Nanjing to Chongqing via the Yangtze river, the ship was caught in a severe storm and sank at around 9:28 p.m near Jingzhouin 15 m (49 ft) deep waters. The Chinese Meteorological Administration said that a tornado strike occurred in Jianli county, where the accident took place, but did not confirm that it had struck the ship.[4] The ship was carrying 458 people, including 406 elderly Chinese tourists, 47 crew members and five tour guides. According to crew members that were rescued, the storm hit them and capsized the ship quickly and while most of the passengers were asleep. About seven survivors were able to swim to shore and alert authorities to the situation, about two and a half hours after capsizing.[5]
        Rescue efforts were made immediately to save the passengers and crew, though did not commence at scale until about twelve hours after the capsizing. The ship upended and is now partially submerged. Five people have been confirmed dead.[5][6][2] 12 people have been rescued, including the ship's engineer and captain, who were taken into custody.[7][5] According to a tweet from China Central Television, rescuers were able to hear the sound of people trapped inside.[2] CCTV reported that search teams have heard people yelling from within the ship.[5]1000 police officers from the Hubei Armed Police Corps were sent to the site with 40 inflatable boats. Authorities reported that the search and rescue effort include divers, 3000 people, and 50 boats.[5] CCTV have also reported that the ship's captain and chief engineer, two of the rescued persons, have been taken into custody.[8]
        President Xi Jinping ordered rescue efforts while Premier Li Keqiang, Vice Premier Ma Kai and State Councilor Yang Jing are travelling to the site.[9]
