1 helicopter shot, forced down June 5, 2015  Border Patrol Helicopter Hit By Gunfire at Texas Border U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter was forced down after it was struck by gunfire from the Mexican side of the border Friday. One bullet hole hit the pilot door and hit a vest on the seat saving his life. Another bullet hit the rotor blade.
