November 22, 2018    21-year-old Leuea Loto returning alumnus was fatally shot at an annual pickup game of football at Mount Rainier High School iin Des Moines, Washington. He had made a big impression on his Samoan community (3) .  Twenty-five-year-old William Holly was arrested in the Twin Cities' suburb of Eagan Minnesdota on Feb 27, 2019. Holly is charged in shooting into a crowd when the game ended when one of the players spit in another's face, the  crowd moved to a parking lot and the player who spit summoned Holly to the scene, where he fired 11 shots from a semiautomatic handgun into the crowd (2)
