Early reports indicate at least 28 dead and 22 injured — including numerous children. Friday's assault is the latest attack against the Coptic Christian minority in Egypt — on Palm Sunday, two Coptic churches were bombed, killing over 40 people.

May 26, 2017 Suspect Jeremy Joseph Christian Ranting at Muslims Portland Train Stabbing Jeremy Joseph Christian who has a history of right wing racist hatred stabbed and killed two victims 53-year-old Ricky John Best and 23-year-old Taliesin Myrddin Namkai Meche as they were trying to intervene on behalf of muslim women on a Portland transit train. Police say he was “yelling and ranting and raving a lot of different things, including what we characterized as hate speech or biased language,”

  10. The Turkish government issues an arrest warrant for NBA Oklahoma City Thunder player Enes Kanter suspected of being a member of a "terror group." Kanter, a vocal supporter of Fethullah Gülen, was returning to the U.S. from a charity tour when, last Saturday, he was detained in Bucharest, Romania, because his Turkish passport had been revoked. Kanter says he plans on becoming a United States citizen. (ESPN)
