1 killed, 1 arrested convicted May 2, 2013 Kwang Choi Joy Suspect In Murder of Iraq Veteran Cal State Student Cal State Fullerton student Maribel Manriquez Ramos was was a veteran who served in Korea and Iraq. Her former Korean roommate Kwang Choi Joy 54 was charged with her murder after he body was found dumped near the mountains in Orange County

Mysterious Bride Limousine Fire Caused By Air Spring Failure May 4, 2013 A fire broke out on a stretched town car limousine on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge because of a catastrophic failure of the rear suspension system. The driver helped the four survivors escape through the partition, but the new bride 31-year-old bride Neriza Fojas was killed with four other passengers. The rear doors had the child lock engaged. Families of the victims are filing suit against 6 companies, including Ford Motors, and the limo operator Limo Stop

May 5, 2013 Saudis Bomb Catholic Church in Arusha, Tanzania  Four Saudi Arabian citizens were arrested for a motorcylcle tossing a bomb at the St. Joseph Mfanyakazi Roman Catholic Church in Arusha, Tanzania on a Sunday. One woman died and over 40 people were seriously injured

2 dead: Monday May 6, 2013 Runaway Bus Kills Ford Escape Kirkland, Washington USA. Bus driver Aleksandr Rukhlin (Russian surname) had driven for a year when his Community Transit bus lost all brakes as he exited the freeway and slammed into the side of a small Ford Escape SUV, killing both occupants.


1 killed 3 injured, 1 arrested May 6, 2013 16-month-old baby killed in Waterbury when DUI with criminal record rear-ends Mazda at stop light  Anthony Lee Faulk, 31, of North Carolina allegedly rear-ended a 1997 Mazda Protégé stopped at a red light. 3 treated and released but baby in car seat died overnight as a result of her injuries. Faulk was charged operating a motor vehicle under the influence, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle...probably manslaughter with a motor vehicle...criminal record, including larceny convictions and motor vehicle violations in North Carolina, including running a red light, speeding and driving without a license. tags: rear end killing, DUI, baby victim, criminal charges, possible deliberate accident

7 May 2013 in the 2013 Ecatepec de Morelos gas tanker explosion, a tanker truck carrying liquefied petroleum gas lost control and ran into several cars and houses before it exploded on Federal Highway 85 in San Pedro Xalostoc community in Ecatepec de MorelosMexico. 27 people were killed and more than 30 injured as a result of the accident. The resulting fires damaged 45 homes and 16 vehicles. 

Shane Franklin Miller, 45, a sometime marijuana grower with a criminal record, is the sole suspect in the May 7 shooting deaths of his 34-year-old wife Sandra and their two daughters, aged eight and four, in the remote Northern California village of Shingletown. A survivalist accused of killing his wife and two young daughters after hiding an arsenal of weapons in an underground bunker is still on the run seven months later, in one of the few cases of gun violence against children in the U.S. without an arrest since the Newtown shootings. nbcnews

Police Shooting of Terrence Franklin in Minneapolis  May 10, 2013 Terrence Franklin was fatally shot multiple times by Minneapolis police in the basement of a house. A Grand jury declined to file charges against the officers who pursued Franklin into the house after a burglary, and shot him after a struggle in which he grabbed an officers gun and shot two officers.

May 12, 2013 Mother's Day Parade shooting A mass shooting at a New Orleans jazz band second line parade commemorating Mother's Day resulted in the injury of 20 people. After the shooting, it was reported that three gunmen fled the scene of the attack. On May 15, 2013, police arrested 19-year-old suspect Akein Scott. The next day, his brother, Shawn Scott, was arrested. The brothers were both charged with 20 counts of attempted second-degree murder. The incident drew international attention to New Orleans' violent crime problem, but was not connected to terrorism.

May 13, 2013 May 2013 Western Greyhound Bus Depot Fire $1.6m dollars damage   Summercourt UK Investigations suggested it was an arson attack. Thirty-four buses (about one-third of the fleet) were destroyed with a value in excess of £1 million. Certain services had to be withdrawn or reduced in frequency for a while but a number of buses were hired in from other companies as short-term replacements.

Apparent connection to another shooting into a crowd after a 2nd line parade in 2015: 16 wounded 1 arrested Sunday, November 22, 2015 New Orleans Bunny Park Domestic Terrorism  Mass Shooting A gunman is arrested after an apparent gunfight between rival gangs at a park with a crowed of 500 gathered to film after a video Annual Second Line Parade. No intended targets were hurt but 16 so-called bystanders are wounded who supposedly were not targeted, so it appears the gang gunfight was really a thinly staged cover to attack the crowd.  Mayor Mitch Landrieu declared it domestic terrorism, but the liberal media basically gave the event a low profile. Joseph "Moe" Allen, 32 was arrested and faces 17 counts of attempted first-degree murder in connection with the Bunny Friend Park shooting. Allen is a convicted felon and has been charged with home invasion, carjacking, illegal carrying of weapon and possession of cocaine and heroin. In 2002, he was arrested with Travis Scott, who recently pleaded guilty to a federal racketeering charge. Scott’s younger brothers, Akein “Keemy” Scott and Shawn “Shizzle” Scott, have pleaded guilty to numerous charges related to the 2013 Mother’s Day shooting in which they also opened fire into a second line crowd, leaving 20 people injured.

Hofstra Student Hostage Killed By Police in Standoff Suspect Dalton Smith invaded Long Island New York home, The masked intruder held Hofstra student Andrea Rebello hostage in a headlock. As Smith took aim at them, a police officer fired 8 times, one round killing Rebello.

Kamakazi Taxi Hits Coolbaugh Fire Police Van May 19, 2013 In Pennsylvania township of Coolbaugh on 1:15 a.m. taxi Driver Michael West was believed  to have lost control of his taxi when he suddenly crossed over the highway to collide head-on with a fire police van of the Coolbaugh Township Volunteer Fire Company . A witness said that he was speeding up at an excessive rate of speed as he was passing his truck on wet pavement. Then the driver side wheels lifted off as his Chrysler minivan swerved onto the path of the oncoming truck. 55 year old taxi driver West was killed and four emergency responders were hurt. Investigators believe the taxi which was carrying no passengers accidentally slid into the path of the oncoming Coolbaugh Township fire police van. Four volunteer firefighters were taken to hospitals, and two were in intensive care

May 21, 2013 Richard Burgin Church Pantry Double MurderRichard Burgin is alleged to have stabbed to death Anthony Jackson, 76, and Terry Jackson, 69, at the food pantry at West Huntsville United Methodist Church in Alabama. The two brothers had volunteered to clean up and help distribute food. On that day, Burgin's girlfriend reported that Burgin returned from a three-day drug binge with blood-stained clothes saying he'd stabbed somebody. On August 7, 2014, Burgin was arrrested base on DNA evidence

Random Shooting of "Bystander" Woman in Renton Liberty Park May 22, 2013 location: Liberty Park in Renton Washington (near Seattle) Lonnie Reynolds was shot as she was a bystander between two groups where men were shooting at each other. Is it possible the "fight" was a staged murder of a bystander with a cover story of of gang violence?

Mokhtar Belmokhtar is an Algerian terrorist, military commander of Al-Qaeda in the Maghreband his own brigade, kidnapper, smuggler and weapons dealer. Belmokhtar claimed responsibility a terrorist attack on 23 May 2013. In this attack, a French-owned uranium mine in Arlit,Niger, as well as a military base 150 miles away in Agadez, were attacked by suicide bombers with truck bombs. Experts saw no reason to doubt the claim of responsibility. Anouar Boukhars of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace saw the bombing as retaliation for the earlier French intervention in the Northern Mali conflict.[10]


May 24, 2013 Saginaw, Michigan USA. City bus hits minivan, hits 2 houses. One house has to be demolished, van driver has to be cut out of overturned vehicle. No cause established for the accident.
