January 23, 2019 Zephen Xaver Mass Shooting at Sebring Florida Bank Gunman Zephan Xaver age 21 kills 5, all women who were everyone at the SunTrust bank in Sebring Florida. No immediate evidence linking him to a terrorist or any other motive. After the shooting, he reported "I have shot five people" to the police dispatch center,   (1) He was employed as a correctional officer trainee at Avon Park Correctional Institution and resigned two weeks before.  He was hired by the facility on November 2 and resigned on January 9 (2)

September 9, 2018 Stabbing Assault Republican Congressional Candidate Rudy Peters Farzad Fazeli tries to stab Republican candidate after an argument at outdoor festival in Castro Valley, California  Fazeli is licensed to work as a security guard in California.

September 20, 2018, Snochia Moseley Rite Aid Maryland Workplace Violence Mass Shooting  Six were shoot with three people killed by a african american female Snochia Moseley, 26 at at Rite Aid distribution center in Aberdeen, Maryland, 30 miles northeast of Baltimore. (1)  The temporary worker who had been a security guard at another site showed up to work on time but went home to get a handgun with many magazines of ammunition, pepper spray and a pair of handcuffs. (1) Moseley started shooting at break time then committed suicide by shooting herself in the head.

September 24, 2017 Burnette Chapel shooting 1 killed 7 injured gunman opened fire at the Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, Tennessee, part of the Greater Nashville Area, killing one person and injuring seven others. Arrested was 25-year-old native of Sudan, Emanuel Kidega Samson. He was former member of the church who said it was said that the attack was revenge for the 2015 Charleston church shooting. During the ensuing struggle, Samson accidentally shot himself in the chest. had been licensed to work as an unarmed security guard from 2014-16, although his license was expired .

6 shot: 3 killed, 3 wounded in 3 site cross-county mass shooting spree at school, mall, and grocery store.  May 5, 2016  Eulalio Tordil Maryland Shooting Spree Eulalio Tordil shot and killed his estranged wife, Gladys Ubaldo Tordil and injured another at High Point High School's parking lot where she was picking up her children from the Phillipines who were about to graduate and go on to college.  He confronted her, and shot her multiples times. Gladys died at the scene. Eulalio also tried to kills a bystander who tried to intervene in the shoulder. Then Washington suburbs went on alert as Tordil went on a two-day shooting rampage that left three dead and three others wounded.

1 killed 3 injured attack on government office April 9, 2015 Census Bureau Shooting Kidnapping An apparently suicidal man kidnaps his wife, rams the gates at the US Census Bureau headquarters in Maryland. A guard sees a argument in the car, and is shot in the chest when his investigates. Police lock down the site and search for the suspect, but he's already lead DC police on a police chase into the crowded H street night life area where diners witness the suspect firing at police while driving, and crashing his Honda into stopped police cars, injuring one officer and shooting another officer in the leg. The suspect stabbed himself, and was shot multiple times.Lawrence Buckner was an Army veteran who spent more than 20 years working security. It was only 10 days after two men were shot running a guard station at the NSA, and the Navy announced punishments for a shooting after a man got past guards at a Naval base and shot guards.

September 8, 2001 Joseph Ferguson Sacramento Shooting Rampage Just before Sept 11 terrorist attacks, Murderpedia writes that Joseph Ferguson, a 21-year-old Burns International Security guard, killed five people and wounded two more before shooting himself to death during a 24-hour rampage starting on Sept. 8, 2001. He shot himself to death the next day after being cornered by authorities in Sacramento. Killed were four people who worked at Burns Security: George Bernardino, 48; Marsha Jackson, 32; Nina Susu, a 20-year-old former girlfriend, and Nikolay Popovich. Ferguson also killed Miller Park marina employee John Derek Glimstad. Police found AK-47 rounds, shotgun rounds and 9 mm handgun shells at the crime scenes

1 killed, 1 suspect fled to Iran July 22, 1980 Dawud Salahuddin David Belfield Assassination of Iran Critic In 1980, Dawud Salahuddin, an American convert to Islam born as David Theodore Belfield , was recruited by the then newly formed Islamic Republic of Iran to assassinate Ali Akbar Tabatabai, a former press attaché at the Iranian Embassy in Washington who became a vocal critic of Ayatollah Khomeini and founded the Iran Freedom Foundation, an organization opposed the Islamic revolutionary regime. Dressed as a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier, Salahuddin carried a parcel concealing a handgun to Mr. Tabatabi’s front door on July 22, 1980. Salahuddin shot Mr. Tabatabi three times when he answered the door to his Bethesda home.  In 1979, Salahuddin accepted a post as a security guard offered by Ali Agha, the embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires
