1 killed July 5, 2015 Police Shoot Unarmed John Deming Church Band Athlete Going Berserk at Exotic Car Dealer At a Pleasanton CA exotic car dealer, police responding to a burglar alarm found a masked man marking up and jumping on a showroom full of Ferrari's, Corvettes and $115,000 Cadillac's. He crashed  through a window, shrugged off taser shots and beat a policeman nearly senseless until he had to shoot, and continued fighting even after shot.  Father doesn't believe his son would hurt a spider, he was a musician in his church band who recently graduated from Piedmont Hills High in San Jose, where he was a defensive lineman on the varsity football team. "Never bullied anybody" Seems like white church choirboy version of "minding his own business" Michael Brown shot for no reason at all by lying police.

High profile lawyer: "What you find is that there was an unarmed 19-year-old who was 150 pounds and who was sitting on the car," Meiselas said. "They expect the public to believe that John Jr. was the aggressor in this situation. That is completely and utterly ridiculous."

Identical case weeks later by black youth: 1 killed, police officer fired August 7, 2015 Christian Taylor Unarmed Black Man Shot Breaking Into Cars By White Cop In a suburb of Dallas, a new police officer being trained shot and killed unarmed African American Christian Taylor after he broke into cars and deliberately crashed his Jeep into the showroom of a car dealer. He was unfazed by a taser shot, advanced toward Miller, who fired one warning shot. Taylor kept advancing, and Miller fired three more times. Taylor had recently become angered over black civil rights and police violence against blacks, and cited assassinated Nation of Islam leader Malcolm X to justify "sometimes you have to be destructive to get what you want.” A Washington Post headline asked "Did unarmed teen seek confrontation" speculating that the youth may have deliberately sought what one commenter called  "martyrdom" by cop in a war on police. In previous cases such as Michael Brown, no one had come up with any conceivable motive why a young man with a promising future would deliberately charge suicidally towards a cop when he had shown no indication of any political motive.

How can two completely different people two different races in two different states do exactly the same obscure thing unless they are somehow connected by a common scriptwriter?

That entailed going to his mother's San Jose home hours after the deadly Sunday encounter and seeking "controlled substances likely to cause psychotic behavior," according to a search warrant viewed by this newspaper.

Pleasanton: Burglary suspect killed in officer-involved shooting

PLEASANTON --  portrayed 19-year-old Johnathon Deming, of San Jose, alternately as an out-of-control madman and a churchgoing kid. police  discovered Deming when responding to a burglar alarm at a specialty auto dealer, screaming and jumping on the Ferraris and Corvettes that jammed its showroom. though unarmed, Deming seems almost superhuman in the recounting, shrugging off Taser shots and beating Officer Daniel Kunkel until he nearly blacked out -- before Kunkel finally managed to fire his service weapon, first into Deming's abdomen and then his face.

John Deming Jr., 19, of San Jose, was shot and killed in a confrontation with a police officer in downtown Pleasanton on July 5, 2015.

Geragos has previously defended clients such as Scott Peterson and Michael Jackson.

"He was just an unarmed kid," said Deming Sr., who said he was connected to the Geragos firm by a family friend.

He said his son planned to live with him in Oakdale to find work and practice music -- he played bass, guitar and sang.

Geragos also took issue with what he described as heavy-handed treatment of Linda Deming when authorities served a search warrant at her home to retrieve potential evidence in the case.

Linda Deming described how she was in shock when officers descended on her property with guns drawn and placed her in handcuffs.

Ben Meiselas, an attorney who works with Geragos, lashed out at the police statement for its inconsistencies about whether Deming was inside or outside of the store when the altercation started.

Meanwhile, John Sr. is coming to grips with the sudden loss of his son amid what he deems "vague" circumstances.

"I've been a police officer for 9 years. We don't do that," he said. "You see somebody, you assess the situation, you start talking to them, you don't start shooting them with bean bags."

According to police, video footage of the incident was captured on the store's cameras and is being reviewed by investigators.

The investigation is being conducted by the Pleasanton Police Department with assistance from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.

The District Attorney's Office is also conducting their own independent investigation, a standard procedure in officer-involved shootings, according to spokeswoman Teresa Drenick.
