  1. 3 dead, 2 injured  July 12, 2014 Pasadena Tenant-Landlord Shooting 35-year-old John Izeal Smith is in custody, and appeared to be a tenant who chased and shot his landlords. Of 3 dead, two were a man and a woman in their seventies. Two people sustained minor to moderate injuries. The gunman chased two people down a street, fatally shooting one and wounding the other, then a neighbor who tried to help was also shot and died in a driveway. The gunman barricaded himself in a nearby house and fired on police officers before he was talked into surrendering. The shooter had three weapons, but mainly used a semi-automatic rifle,

  4. 1 killed 4 injured, suspect not charged.  July 12, 2014 Woman Driver 62 runs down  family of 5 killing boy  In Cagrin Fall, Ohio  a woman driver, 62 struck five people killing an 8-year-old boy who was walking with his parents and two other children. The driver was not been arrested or charged.

Eighteen-year-old black youth Damarius Wren allegedly stabbed the black Indiana woman six times, fractured her skull, tossed her bound body into the trunk of her own car and then abandoned the vehicle. The daughter of DeCarol Deloney-Cain told cops her boyfriend planned to rob her mom, whose body was found bound and stuffed in plastic bags inside the trunk of her abandoned car. Two men rushed in; one had a gun. The weapon was pointed at the pastor’s head.
